Jazzytube Video Blogger Template

Jazzytube is a video blogger template created by Maskolis, this is the second video template after Blogger tube. Its a 2 column theme to display YouTube videos only, includes dual menu bar, 3 column footer, right sidebar and a clean layout.

Lets start off with uploading the video in your post, copy the YouTube code as shown in below screenshot -

Another way to get the code is by clicking on share at the bottom of the video, then check the box next to the long link, and copy the URL, as shown below -

Now create a new post in HTML mode (do not compose), paste the YouTube URL and insert endofvid at the end without leaving any space. To add text to the post, start by using the code [starttext] and ending with the code [endtext]. It will look like this -

In the sidebar you can display video widget per category, in order to do that go to Layout, select HTML / Javascript gadget and enter the below code in it -

Replace 'sting' (marked in bold) with the label you want to display in the sidebar. Each video post also shows social bookmarking icons and related articles at the end of the post.

To edit the first menu bar, go to Edit Html and search for this code -

Now replace '#' with links and the default text with your blog categories, in this template you can add a little brief as well below the main category, like under 'About' it says 'All About this', you can replace it and save the changes. In the second menu bar, pages will automatically show on the home page.

Overall, Jazzytube is a nice and easy to use theme for video blogging, you can customise the sidebar and footer as per your blog content.

My Movie Blog Template

My Movie is a 2 column blogger template designed by Klodian. It has a movie-related background, dual menu bar, featured slider and 3 column footer.

Pages are enabled in the top menu bar, which can be customised from Layout (in the new blogger version), while the second menu bar includes blog labels that will show automatically. To modify the featured slider, go to Layout, edit 'Featured Posts', and carry out the changes in the below code -

Replace '#' with the post link, add your image url (marked in bold), post title and description, repeat the same step for all the slides and save the changes. While the sidebar on the right shows the social media icons on top, you need to add the below code in Layout, click on edit 'social icons' and paste the code. Add your social account links (marked in bold), you can also add different icons by changing the image url.

Sens Blog Template

Sens is a 3 column blogger template created by Klodian. Its a nice theme that includes featured posts slider, 4 columns in footer and social widgets integrated.

To set up the social media icons in the header, go to Design--Page Elements, click on edit Social icons and paste the following code in the widget box and add your facebook, twitter etc user name or id.

The single menu bar can display the blog pages, which you can easily create from Posting--Edit Pages--New Page. Moving on to the featured content slider, create images of 960px×300px, go to Design--Page Elements, edit 'Featured Posts' and you will find the below code, just insert your image link, post url, title and short description, follow the same steps for all the slides and save the changes.

The main column follows the same format, post summary with image, Read More link, social bookmarking icons and comments. The right sidebar can be used as a single or a double column, so you can add your different blogger widgets. This template also includes a 4-column footer to add text or html widgets.

SuperHost Blogger Template

SuperHost is a 3 column blogger template ported from wordpress by Lasantha Bandara. The theme features include dual navigation bar with dropdown, full width slider and tabbed widget.

The first menu bar on top can be modified from Design--Page Elements, create a link list and save the changes. Below it is the header section with a banner ad on the right, followed by the second menu bar with sub-category dropdown. Search for this code in Edit Html and add your category, sub-category links.

Blogger Evening Blogspot Theme

Blogger Evening is a 3 column free theme created by Chica Blogger. The template has a clean layout, a slider on the home page and 3 column footer.

It has a colorful header space to insert your blog logo, on the right of it is the internal search box and a horizontal menu bar below it for the category, contact page etc. In order to change the header logo, access Edit Html, search for this image url and replace it with your blog logo.

Chinese Drop Blog Template

Chinese Drop is a 2 column skin ported to blogger by Blogger Template Place. Its got a cool design with a simple layout.

The header includes the menu bar with the categories displayed vertically, a twitter icon besides it and subscribe to RSS button is placed below it. In the main column the posts appear in a summarized 'Read More' format and has the default blogger social bookmarking widget integrated in the theme, whereas the post details - date stamp, labels, comments - are at the end of the post.

The single sidebar features a set of social bookmarking icons so your readers could follow your blog and share content on different sites. In order to modify the links, go to Edit Html and look for the following code -

Topzglow, a Funky Tech Theme

Topzglow is a 2 column theme designed by Simply WP and converted to blogger by Anshul.

This template has a funky header image embedded with few electronic gadgets. Although its a tech-related theme, Topzglow is not packed with features, thus catering to a casual technology blogger.

The main column starts with the post headline and a comment bubble on the right while the rest of the post details like author, time and labels appear at the end. The single column on the right consists a Twitter icon to keep your readers posted with the latest updates.

Below it the Subscribe to blog option, followed by the default blogger features like labels, recent posts etc. The theme also has the comment avatar feature activated. Overall Topzglow has a neat layout and suitable if you want to blog about technology.

Peekaboo Santa Blogger Template

Welcoming the festive season, Blogger Blog Templates brings to you special Christmas themes which are free to download from the site.

The first template of this series is Peekaboo Santa, a beautiful template designed by Template Mama, available in 3 and 2 columns.

This template has an animated Santa in the header image, which adds to the overall feel of the blog. Next to it is the blog title and description.

It has a fixed background image which stays the same on scrolling down the screen. In the main column the date stamp appears on the right, followed by the headline, and author, time and comments appear at the end of the post.

While the sidebar includes the default blogger widgets like About Me, Archive, Followers, My Blog List etc. You can make the changes and delete or add few from Page Elements.

Overall its a nice template design to use for Christmas.

FreshPick Blogger Theme

Created by Styleshout, FreshPick theme is converted to blogger by Chica Blogger. Its a 2 column template that has a minimalist and clean layout.

The header of this theme contains a simple image on the right, and the blog headline and one-line description fits in on the left. Below that is the navigation bar which can be customised by accessing Edit Html and search for the following code and replace them with relevant links -

FreshPick contains a featured post section below the header, that allows you to display a brief of your best post along with an image. To activate that feature, go to Layout-Page Elements and add the below code in the widget called Featured.

Hybrid News Blogger Theme

Hybrid News is the original magazine-style theme designed by Free Blogger Template. The 3 column template is packed with lot of features to facilitate display of your top content.

Hybrid News comes with a dual menu bar, each above and below the header image. Adjacent to the first navigation bar is an internal search box, while the header also contains ad space on the right. There is a slider section to display your latest posts, with a brief about your post and an image. Since the slider script uses Atom feed, it will automatically update the slider content.

Search for the below code in Edit Html and add your feed url

Below the slider the designer has included a minipost section, where snippets of each post comes with an image. This is followed by two text widgets in case you want to add some content there. The sidebar has 2 boxes before it splits into two more columns, so you can add any blogger features of your choice.

Hybrid News Blogger Theme also includes a 4 column footer section, so this magazine template gives you ample space to fit in your content.

Not Magazine Blogger Template

Not Magazine blogger template is an innovative creation of Cebong Ipiet. Its a 4 column template that becomes 3 column on entering a post. Its a wonderful feature as it gives more space for your post.

Not magazine, I am not sure why Cebong choose this name, gives ample space to display your content. Let's begin with the menu bar on top that also contains a search box. That's followed by the header, there is space to put your banner ad next to the blog title and description, and below it too there is a thin strip provided to embed a 728x15 adsense ad.

The home page consists of 4 columns, the left hand side column includes a RSS feed option, and you can also add one more blogger widget below it. While the main column might seem narrow on the home page, when you click on the post title the left sidebar disappears, making the post column broader.

Social bookmark icons appear at the end of every post and even the Read more feature is incorporated in this template. The right side columns can be used to display sponsorship ads, if any, or else a welcome note for the readers followed by the remaining content.

Footer section of Not Magazine blogger template

Not Magazine template has additional 3 columns in the footer section, so it is more like magazine style template:) If you write on array of topics, then you can consider using Not Magazine template.

Blue Glide Blogger Skin

Designed by Cebong Ipiet, Blue Glide blogger skin is a 3 column template that comes with a glider to add your featured posts, image gallery or slideshow.

Blue Glide template doesn't include a conventional header, instead the blog title and description appears in the right sidebar in a designed box. Adjacent to that is the image slider for your featured posts, image size should preferably be 620x220 pixel. You can also have a display of your photographs with the post title and description.

To add images go to Page Elements---Click edit on Glider Content widget---Copy/Paste the code below -

If you are adding five images, copy the same code five times and add the image url, post link, title and summary. The posts starts below the slider and the author name, timestamp and comments are placed in a blue rectangular box. The template also has the Read More feature enabled, followed by labels.

In this template the search box is integrated in the side column, after which you can add few blogger widgets. Then the column splits into two where you can place the rest of your content like labels, blog list, archives etc.

The white and grey background with strips of blue gives it a neat look. Blue Glide template can be used for a personal or photography blog.

Dark Forest Blogger Theme

Here's a new blogger theme called Dark Forest, created by an Indian company Ray Creations. They seem to be relatively new in the designing field, but they have created some interesting blogger templates.

As the name suggests, Dark Forest is a 2 column template with nature as its main theme. The header has a beautiful landscape picture, where you can add your blog title and description. On the top right corner there is space to add your Comments and Posts RSS.

The two columns appear on a blue background with floral designs on top, and then the main column has a white background, on top of the blue. Next to the post headline is a neat calender icon for the date, and below it is the labels and comments icon.

The sidebar, which has a brownish background, starts with a search box and its designed in a way like its clipped to the sidebar. Then you can add the section you like, the default ones are welcome note, archives and labels. Each headline has a flowery design as its icon that looks quite pretty.

If you have a personal blog or a nature blog, then you might want to consider using this theme.

Compositio Blogger Theme

Initially created by Design Disease, Compositio is one of the better blogger templates converted by Zona Cerebral. Its been a while since we had any of their templates on this blog.

Compositio is a 2 column theme with a pleasing light blue colour scheme. The random squares used throughout the background add a special rhythm to the theme.

The template starts off with a navigation bar, below which is the header that is part of the main column, unlike other blogs where the header is spread across all columns. Here you can change the logo and add your blog description as well, while the main post column is pretty simple containing the regular features.

The sidebar has an integrated search box and small RSS icons to subscribe to posts and comments, after which there is space for About Me section. Compositio also provides you with the facility to include your Flickr photo stream and a tabber, which has become a regular feature in many templates lately.

The main reason for that would be because it saves lot of space and your readers can choose what they want to read.

Elegant Style Social Blogger Skin

The Elegant style blogger templates was created for blogspot by O-Om, its a three column modern blogger skin that would find itself on social blogger blogs.

The first thing you will notice about this template is that its built for a blogger who uses either Blogcatalog.com or Mybloglog.com, as the header has a prominent space for the recent visitors widget on the right hand side.

The header has a navigation menu with a search bar in it, under that is the blog title and description, the recent viewers widget comes on the right. The headline, author, post date, labels are all together at the top left while the comment count on the right.

The sidebar is divided into single double and double columns again, which gives it a nice variation, although you would be even happier with the multi column footer.

PassionDuo Blue, Red & Green Templates

The Passion Duo template has been originally designed by Daily Blog Tips and converted to blogger by eBlog Templates, who has recently pissed me off by asking its users to register. But I managed to get all these templates from other sites, I am pretty sure hes gonna loose some users with his latest move.

The PassionDuo template is available in three different colors, Blue, Red and Green, apart from that its a very neat template with equal amount of partitions between every segment.

Now lets dissect the blog template bit by bit, starting off with the big bold header title, on the top left with the description under it, which has place only for one short sentence. The right holds enough space for a leader board ad, this position is suppose to be a very good converter actually.

Under that is the navigational menu that runs in a strip under the header of the blog, which has a css hover assigned to it. On the far right of this template there is a RSS feed button. Theres another leader board space allocated under the header and above the blogs main column. The sidebar hosts ads on the top left, now this blog is for serious money makers.

I really recommend you cut off the sidebar ads, as the blog really look like it has more ads than content. It comes filled up with different widgets the search bar is very neatly done as well, its just a little box with instructions in it.

The headline of the post is striking to say the least, extra large as compared to the size of the post font. The post author, labels and comments all find its place under the headline which leaves the end of the post empty. This is what gives the blog an extra feel of neatness. AdsPress Blogspot Template

Another template suited for advertisements, though this one is a simple two column template originally designed for wordpress by Blog Oh Blog and ported to blogger by Template Godown.

Advertisement templates usually come with full power packed three column templates with a lot of functions. So when you find a simple two column template that's boasting of its advertisement space, it definitely becomes unique.

This rounded template supports a leader board advertisement on the right of the blog title. Under that you have the navigational menu which has a nice search bar embedded into it.

Under the main content section there is space for another leader board advertisement and the sidebar can hold some widgets as well. The post title has a nice clear cut font with the date above it and labels under it. If you are looking to monetize a simple blog this is a decent template.

Blue Weed Blogger Theme

The Blue Weed theme was created by Blog oh blog and ported to blogger by Gosu Blogger, a relatively fast conversion since the template has recently been released for wordpress.

A simple white and blue three column template, that has a semi rounded design and flows quite well. The blog header consists of a logo which you can replace with your own logo in the form of an image.

On the right of the logo is the search bar that could use some tweaking to make it blend better. Under the header section is the navigational menu strip. The post area is rather simple and nothing extraordinary. The sidebar hosts a tabbed widget that can be customized.

The sidebar then divides into two but the background is a constant colour which is quite nice. The bottom of the template has grass growing which gives the end of the blog a pleasing finishing touch. If you like to try some blue weed, go ahead and download it!

Blue Blog Blogger Skin

Who says wordpress is the only blog hosting service that hosts a wide range of templates, the number of blogger skin developers are increasing tremendously in the recent years. One of the latest template porters who I have come across Zona Cerebral has ported a fantastic template desgined by Kailoon for wordpress.

Blogspot no longer lacks fully loaded templates, the Blue Blog is just another skin that offers features that any professional blogger would like. Take a look at the screenshot above, the header holds the blog description on the left, above that on a thin strip is the blog title, on the right of the description is an image, that you can change from the edit html.

Just besides the image in the header is a RSS button that is quite prominent in the header. Then below the description are the links that allow you to navigate through your blog. Just under the post headline is the Authors name, on the right is the comments icon, a date stamp is present just besides the headline on the left. The labels are placed at the end of the post though.

The sidebar holds a tabbed widget at its start, just below that is the search bar. The sidebar then breaks up into two columns, that allows you to add multiple widgets. The left hand side column seems like it has a style added to it as compared to the right bar.
