The header space is used for the blog title and description, horizontal menu bar on the right and an internal search box above it. This is followed by a photo, which can be changed from Edit Html, you need to search for the below code -

Replace the blogspot image link after this with your image url (photo should be 300x135) and save the template. Adjacent to the photo you can also add a welcome note or some text from Layout--Page Elements, while below it you can display links to your portfolio page and projects.

The author has also provided space to show your top 3 featured posts, to get that working go to Layout--Page Elements, Edit the 3 adjacent gadgets or add a new one. After adding your text in the box, paste the following code to get the Read More icon -

Generally in other templates, featured posts are picked automatically from the feed, but in this one you have to manually add them.

The main post column has the headline on top followed by time stamp and author, and the labels appear below the post. The Read More feature is also integrated in the template. The single sidebar can be used for the additional blogger widgets.

Excellence is a simple blogger template that has been converted by Ritesh Sanap, while the original wordpress theme was created by BlogOh!Blog.
Its a 3 column template with a neat layout. The header has a black background with just about enough space to include the blog title and a brief description. On the right side is the search box and the RSS icon, tucked into the green menu bar.

The main column and the two sidebars are placed on the same background, but its well spaced out. The main column starts with the headline, followed by date stamp, author name and comments, below that comes the post labels.

The sidebar has the conventional layout with the author profile on top followed by space to put sponsor ads if any. Now the template has been tweaked a bit to include a tabber, where you can place Recent Comments, Recent Posts, Archives and so on. The single column splits into two to give you additional space to include different blogger widgets.

The Magasin Uno Blogger Template was created by Padd IT Solutions and converted to blogger by Falcon Hive.

Around a year ago there was a severe shortage of themes for blogger, at that time finding a magazine template was rare. But now with increasing number of porters and developers there seems to be enough of choice to satisfy any professional blogger.

The Magasin Uno template adds to the collection of powerful functional themes for blogspot. This template starts off with a section for Google adsense link units right on top. Under that on the left we have the blog title while the right holds a leaderboard advertisement.

Under that is a cross column navigation bar that has a search bar integrated into it on the right hand side. Just below the navigation is a featured slide show on the left hand side while the right hand side holds the sidebar.

Designed by Productive Dreams, the Blak Magik theme has been converted to blogger by Ipiet. Its one of those themes which has minimal design but is yet attractive.

Blak Magik is a 2 column template with a neat and simple layout comprising a dark wooden background. The header can be customised to fit in your image, and there also top links included in the right side of the header, which also has the RSS button and seems like a slightly flawed hover on display. Below that is the menu bar on the left that has a simple hover on color change and a neatly designed search box.

The main column is simple but the comments icon is quite interesting; the number of comments appear as a splash. Then you have the headline below that is author name, labels and date stamp. Each post area has been divided with a nice design that makes it quite prominent.

The sidebar can be used to create your labels section, archives, about me page etc. All the sections have a wooden header, while the footer allows you to place some stylish links on the bottom right. Blak Magik template is meant for bloggers that are not looking for too many features in their template, but a stylish design.

The Cellar Heat WordPress theme was created by Evan Eckard for Smashing Magazine. It has been ported to blogger by MagzNetwork.

It seems like blogger templates are getting quite unique with this very interesting template that can showcase a humongous amount of content on the home page all thanks to Magznetwork.com

This template has the main column divided into three columns where each column is capable of holding a post summary with a readmore link to read the whole post. There is a sidebar on the right hand side that is fairly simple and at the bottom of it is a three column section in the footer.

The blog title and description find themselves in a small section that spans the width of the blog and ends with a search bar on the right. Above the blog title are a set of links that can be used and modified to navigate the blog.

The required time stamp format is “Wednesday, January 30, 2008″ and the author recommends you put at least one link in the top menu before you preview your blog.
