Medusa Blog Template

Medusa is a 2 column professional theme adapted from wordpress by and designed for blogger by Lasantha. The theme includes a slider gallery, dual menu bar and 4 column footer.

It has a neat slider with post text on the side of the image. In order to modify the slider, go to Design--Edit Html and find the below code -

Insert the relevant details as mentioned in the code, similarly edit the rest of the slides and save the changes. This template includes dual navigation bar, to customise the first one, search for this line of code in Edit Html -

Now below this you need to add the pages - Home, Contact, about etc.- you want to display and save the changes. While for the second menu bar which also has a drop-down, you need to find this code and in subsequent line of code add the links you want to display -

There is an extra column between the menu bar and main column where you can add more details about your site, work, contact page, etc., in a snippet format. The single sidebar on the right has the internal search box, followed by other widgets. This template also includes a 4 column footer to display more content.

The World and Beyond Blog Template

The World and Beyond is a 2 column nature-based template created for blogger by Ezwpthemes.

Once you upload this template on your blog, you can change the blog title and tag line, then proceed to adding links in the horizontal menu bar. Go to Design--Page Elements, find the top tabs widget, click edit, add the links and save the changes. The menu bar includes a neat RSS icon for your readers to subscribe to the blog and also a welcome note on the right.

While the main column is in a diary form, and each post has social bookmarking icons at the end along with comments. The single sidebar starts with the search box followed by different blogger widgets like archives, recent posts etc.

This theme can be used for nature, science and discovery blog.

Photorama Blog Theme

Photorama is a 2 column template created by Templates Block. Its a simple photo blog theme.

Photorama has a nice and broad header image, which includes dual navigation bar around the blog title. In order to add your links go to Design-Edit Html and search for the following code -

The sidebar on the right can be used to add other blog widgets like Recent Posts, Archives, Comments etc.

Technicolor Wedding is a beautiful blogger theme designed by EZwpthemes and ported by BloggerThemes.

Technicolour Wedding is a 2 column template that is apt for a wedding or personal blog. The header image is attractive filled with flowers, balloons, ribbons, etc., and embedded in them is the blog title, tagline and the pretty menu bar. Also featuring in one of the balloons is the RSS icon.

The main column has a tiny search box on top right, below that is the post headline, author, time and labels, while the comments appear at the bottom of the post. The right sidebar begins with a flowery welcome note for your readers.

Below that are the default blogger widgets like Archives, Labels, About and much more depending on your content.

Green Day Blogger Theme

Green Day is a 2 column template created by EZwpthemes and ported to blogger by Anshul. The template is not named after the band Green Day, but it definitely makes up a wonderful environment-friendly theme.

The header image is made of various eco icons so to say, the stretch of green will feature your blog title and a brief description.

Below it on the right is the internal search box, followed by the horizontal menu bar. The main column has the headline and date stamp on top and other post details like author, time, comments and labels at the bottom of the post.

On uploading the template you might get the undefined error message for the date stamp, to fix that go to Layout--Settings--Formating--Timestamp Format and select the right format. You can also watch this video guide to get further help.

The right sidebar has a welcome note on top with a RSS icon on the side. Below it is a colorful strip to place other blogger widgets like Recent Posts, Comments, Archives, Labels etc.

Green Christmas Blogger Theme

If Green is your colour for this season, then Green Christmas is a nice blogger template to opt for your blog. The 3 column theme is an original creation of Skin Corner.

The template has an artistic header image depicting the spirit of Christmas. The headline and description fits in the middle of the header. Below that is horizontal menu bar to display your categories.

The main column has the date stamp on top, followed by the headline and then the author name, while the comments appear at the bottom of the post. There is also a top button that leads the reader to the top of the page.

The two sidebars are on either sides of the main column. The left column features the About Me and Archives section, and the right sidebar includes Recent Posts and Categories. You can change or add widgets as per your requirements.

Futebol Blogger Theme

If you are a football lover and want to write about it, then Template Futebol is the perfect theme for you. Its a 3 column template, that's an original creation of Templates Novo blogger.

Its a professional looking theme that has an interesting layout. The header includes a horizontal menu bar to add your categories, the image of the grass and football looks quite nice. Below it is the search box, drop-down menu for post labels or tags and the subscribe icons.

To activate the search form, find the following code in Edit Html and add your blog url.

Whereas the rest of the posts appear automatically in smaller boxes in a summarized format with thumbnail images. The boxes have rounded edges which are not visible in Internet Explorer. The sidebar on the left can be used to place additional blogger widgets.

Green Leaves Blogger Theme

If green is your colour then Green Leaves blogger theme would be a good choice. Created by Ray Creations, the 2 column template has a simple but yet pleasing design.

The template starts off with a narrow navigation bar on a black background, that's where you place your Home, RSS, Contact links etc. The blog title and description appears on the right below the menu bar. Then the main column, which is on a white background, has the author name, time stamp and comments in a rectangular box below the headline. While the labels appear at the end of each post.

Ray Creations templates always come with rounded columns, that somehow look better then the square edges. The single sidebar is divided into boxes, so each section comes in neatly designed light green box, followed by its content in transparent boxes. There are no additional features in this template or a search box.

Green is an Attractive Colour

Green is an attractive colour is actually a template by Bontoo called, Hijau Itu Menawan, Cahaya translated the name for me, which I am grateful for! Anyway lets take a look at what this template has to offer us.

Hijau itu menawan, is a unique template in terms of design, it starts of with two hand drawn people with red hearts speaking. One of them introduces the blog, as the speech bubble holds the blog title and blog description.

Apart from that the entire page layout has a nice design, the time stamp is displayed in a cloud that floats outside the main column, besides the post headline. The headline is in a section created with a similar hand drawn image of the person, only this time hes looking at the post.

Under the post section is the posted by author, then there seems to be a tiny bug with the post date repeating twice, and there are no labels displayed. But under this is a separator that holds the comments count.

Each section in the sidebar starts off with a flower icon and each line has a nice little icon on the left of it. The entire template is on a background of clouds, this makes it really attractive.

Green Light Blogger Theme

Originally designed by Template Lite, Green Light Blogger Theme has been converted to blogger by Falcon Hive. It is yet another template with an artistic header.

Green Light is a two column template with simple features. The green theme is complemented by a dark grey background, so the header image stands out. Navigation links appear in the top right corner of the header, it can be customised as per your needs.

While the main column has a standard format, with author and the date stamp featuring below the headline and labels and comments below the post. The width of the main column is fairly big as compared to the sidebar, so you can experiment a bit with the placement of your post and image.

The RSS icon is not integrated in the template, you can select an attractive icon to fit it in the sidebar. The search box is placed at the start of the right sidebar and in the remaining space you can put your Archives, Recent Posts and Comments.

The sidebar also has a nice design at the end of the column. If green is your colour then this template is an ideal choice.

Food Blogger Template

There is a lack of templates related to food, cooking and recipes for blogger, apart from the food template the cooking template is the only one I know of. The food template has been modified from the minima templates that are available on Blogger by Douglas Bowman and modified by Templates Novo Blogger.

Since its based on the Minima design, you should not expect a complex theme, but the modification does make it look quite elegant and it does retain its minimalistic approach. The sidebar finds itself on the left and starts off with an image that's height is the same as the header.

The Blog title and description are on the left hovering above the main column while on the right there is an apple shaped RSS feed icon neatly placed within a floral design.

The post dates do not appear so you find a neat headline, followed by the labels and apart from the floral design this blog does not seem to be able to hold comments, or perhaps the blog where the template was uploaded has the comments disabled.

But the blog has a contact form built into the sidebar that allows you to easily put in a message to send to the author. The sidebar also comes with a neat search widget, that's about it, if you want this template for your food related blog, the download links below!

Fervens A, B & C Blogger Themes

The Fervens A, B and C themes are created by Design Disease, you will find this blog has the same background as these templates, this blog uses the Dilecto template made by them. The Fervens series of templates were ported to bloggger by Blog and web, thanks guys!

So what do we have here a similar design in multiple layouts the last template series like this SoSuechtig template but instead of the sidebars changing the color changes. The other one where the templates change is the iTheme template, where you will find a link to the tecno theme.

The Fervens themes come with a very pleasing colour combination of pastel shades, a bold blog title in the header draws attention to itself, just beside it on the right you have the RSS icons. Under it is the header menu, a bright orange color that turns to green on a mouse hover.

Ill talk about the sidebar first, the green one, it starts off with a green searchbar that overlaps the next widget, the over lapping section gets a different colour which makes it quite unique have not seen a blog that pays so much attention to the little details that makes it nice and attractive.

The main column begins with the post date, folowwed by the headline and after that lies the labels and autor stamp. The post a comment option lies at the bottom of the post. The third column is a thin one and a darker shade as compared to the rest and completes the template.

So you can choose which version of this template you want for your blog, the columns on which side of the main column, once you decide you can download it from below!

Vibrant Blogger Template

So Gosu is back from his vacation and hes brought us a magnificent template on his return, the Vibrant blogger template was originally designed by Custom theme design.

Just as the name suggests, this template literally radiates energy and life. But apart from just being a vibrant three column template this skin is actually feature packed with a good amount of ready made sections.

The template starts of with the navigational menu tabs on the top left, while on the right we have a neat search bar. The blog title under the menu tabs, with space to hold the description on the right hand side.

Then starts the main column in a neat rounded box with the headline in blue, the post date finds itself neatly placed under it, then a light blue separator holds the author and comment count. The end of the post is divided with a thin line, on the other side lies the labels.

The sidebar has some well defined sections, it starts of with a RSS section where a visitor can subscribe to your feeds, it also includes a subscribe by email. Under that is a 125 x 125 ad box that can hold up to three advertisements. Below that is a tabbed navigation menu that fits the colors of the blog.

Then you have the sidebar dividing into two columns, so apparently this is a very useful sidebar. All the widgets in the sidebar have a nice header that suits the theme, and to end it there is a subscribe to RSS even in the footer and a link to go back to the homepage, I suggest you complete the blog with a jump to the top link.

There are some updates to this theme, the images went missing so I have uploaded the images and script in the zip folder you can re download them if they are not there. Apart from that I have also found this patch from Gosu's site.

In the css you will be able to locate

Natural Beauties Blogger Template

This Natural Beauties template was designed by Free CSS Templates and ported to blogger by Aborregate.

A simple two column template that is very pleasent on the eye with its nature theme. The header has some beautiful butterflies next to the blog title and the blog title is on the right.

Just below that are the navigational links which once again are very beautiful the colour and the feel that it exhibits. The sidebar is located on the left a feature that I like quite a lot, it reminds me of school books for some reason.

The sidebar gets a bit of blue for the headers while the main column has a dash of pale pink at the bottom of the main post that holds the author name and the comments link. The footer of the blog has the same colour as the header. It makes a good nature theme this template.

Neonix a One Column Template

One column templates serve as a good tool for photo bloggers, perhaps not the bloggers who want to set up a shop as well on their site but for someone who wants to just write a bit and showcase their pictures, single column templates are a quite handy.

Neonix is a rather thin single column template brought to blogger by Blog and Web and originally designed by Free CSS Templates.

This template has a unique feature that stands right out in the header, just besides the blog title is a nice set of links that make up for the lack of a horizontal navigation menu. The theme is fairly simple with its bright almost florescent green and white colours.

The post headline seems to be in lower case with the time stamp placed above it. The end of the post has the author stamp and the labels with some neat icons. Just above the footer of the blog is a link to subscribe to the RSS feed. The placement of the feed link is good especially since the footer can hold widgets.

The footer is divided into two columns that can hold widgets, this is something I like to see in a single column template, the footer being made more use of. I usually like the header to have a section that can hold more widgets, you can do that if you know CSS, its pretty simple. Japanese Fleur Blogger Theme

Another free blogger template that has been ported from wordpress by Kranti and designed by Toptut.

Fleur means flower in French, so the Japanese Flower template has an amazingly beautiful header image, that incorporates a search box and extends to the RSS button as well.

The blog title and description is nestled high up on the right hand side of the image, the blog post header is rather small and the right hand side has the post date which is highlighted with green.

The sidebar is situated on the left hand side of the template, and is slightly narrow. This blog has a rather simple but artistic design, if you like it you can go ahead and download it as well.

Lemon Twist Blogger Template

I am super excited, apart from finding out the reason of the traffic dropping from google on the main blog, one of the most beautiful templates that I have seen have been ported to blogger by Jacky Supit. The wordpress design was made by Chris Murphy from far from fearless, I must say Chris this is marvelous!

I do not know where to start, from the collapsable sidebar units or the beautiful post date, or the lovely intorduction in the header. THe blog has navagational links on the top right, an image floating on the left for the blog title.

Comes with social bookmarking links neatly placed at the bottom of the post, take a look at the footer. The grass and the trees, a widget to hold your fliker pictures and recent posts and then another cool footer announcment section and a jump to the top link is provided as well.

To change the image in the header you have to search for "http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/8227/logoom3.png" and replace it with your image url.

The Ayumi Blogger Template

The Ayumi three column template was originally created for wordpress by Wptr and ported to blogger by Gosublogger.

The template is predominantly green and white template once again has all the features required for a complete web 2.0 blogger template. The blog title is located at the right of the header. The left has the blogs navigational tabs.

The strange part of this blog is the post time stamp, the labels as well as the comments icon is place on the right above the post headline. This feels a little odd, you can see the blue strip on the right above the headline of the blog post that is in green.

The sidebar has a single column on the top and then breaks up into two columns lower. It also hosts the search bar that takes up both columns, the sidebar has a gradient of green and every element header gets a bit of pink.

I think this template would be good for nature lovers or environmentally friendly blogs. If you like it go ahead and download this lovely template.

Rainbow Garden Blogger Template

This is one template that has got me on a Wild Goose chase trying to find the original creator of the template who designed it for wordpress, it was converted to blogger by Jacky Supit.

Apart from the gorgeous colors and flower designs this template is a very simple three column template. It has a semi rounded design, with one side of both the columns rounded at the top.

There are no navigational menus or special features, just two sidebars on either side that can contain your widgets. The labels and the comments section with a neat little icon are located just under the headline.

I do not recommend having too many posts on the homepage with this template as the sidebar and the main column merge into the background of the template after a point of time. The template is none the less exquisite if you like it go ahead and download it.

The Second Thing Blogger Skin

The Second Thing, was created for blogger by Kevin, who is a professional web designer!

This is a gorgeous curvy two column blogger template that is quite simple once again, but the the colours used make it extremely elegant.

There is a flowery pattern at the back of the header and it extends behind the top sides of the sidebar and main column. The template has no additional features apart from the colours and the looks theres nothing to it. Even the bottom is rounded of the main column. If you like it you can download it from below.
