The Blue Salmon blogger template is another blogger skin borrowed from wordpress, it was originally created by Justin. Jack ported it to blogger and its quite beauiful template. You can view a demonstration of this template over here.

If you notice the color contrasts are superb, the little links on the top left, the bold menu buttons, a neat floating search bar and some clear concise font makes this template extremly attractive. This template is a two column template but you can add three widgets at the bottom just above the footer.

For the post calendar to work you will need to,

Go to your Blogger Dashboard, Settings and then Formatting, there you’ll see the Timestamp format option. You need to choose this style: Friday, September 21, 2007 for your post date function to work.

This template uses upto eight html/javascript widgets that you can add from your add a page element page incase you do not have them.

Here's another template ported for your new blogger that loves XML called Mind Break. Unfortunately it has no frustration showing on the template to match its name, it would probably show up on a lot of blogs after Google updates PageRank.

This template was designed by ItsNature and ported to blogger by Erica Akira.
Apart from the name this template is elegant, sleek and gives your blog a professional look. The color combination may need to be changed if you need it to look absolutely professional but this is quite good.

The template that was on demonstration had the search icon missing which may be the same problem in this one, you can easily replace that if you have a problem get back in touch with me.
