Tea Time is a lovely blog skin designed and coded by Ezwpthemes. Its a 2 column theme that can be used for book, food or drinks blog.

It has an extended header image that includes several features. The blog name appears on a suspended placard, followed by the menu bar and a small welcome note for your readers, you can add text there from Design--Page Elements and click on edit 'About'. The menu bar can be changed from Design-Page Elements, click on edit top tabs and add your links.

To the right of the header is Recent Posts and Recent Comments that can be activated from Design--Page Elements, and below that is the internal search box. The RSS icon has been placed at the side of the main column, you need to add the blog feed url in Edit Html.

The main post area is quite different as compared to other blog designs. It starts with the headline, followed by the author name, labels and at the end of the post you have social bookmarking icons so readers can tag your post on other social networks. Below this the comments appear on a menu card, that looks quite neat and adjacent to comments is the date stamp.

While the sidebar on the right side of the diary is to display blogger widgets like Categories, Archives and much more.

A sweet template is what I would call the Choco Blogger Theme, an original creation of Best Theme and ported to blogger by New WP Themes.

Its a 2 column theme with a neat colour scheme and the basic required features of a blog. It comes with dual navigation bar, each above and below the header space. On the right of the first menu bar is the internal search box, while in the main header, you can change the blog logo from Edit Html. Search for the following code and replace all the text marked in bold with your blog logo and url.

Below the slider is the main post column, where Read More feature is integrated, and post details like time and labels come below the headline.

The sidebar on the right includes the social bookmarking icons, which you can activate from Edit Html. Below that are two banner ads, RSS subscribe icon and follow me on twitter image. Choco template also includes a Featured Video section to put up any videos of your choice.

With Pet is a nice template created by Ezwpthemes and ported to blogger by Bloggerthemes. Its meant for all the pet lovers who want to share stories and experiences of their pet with others.

The 2 column theme has a cute header image comprising animal pictures and in the middle of that the blog headline appears with a one-line description. The RSS subscribe icon is also placed in the header.

Below that is the horizontal menu bar with an internal search box on the right and a cute welcome board grabbed by a puppy, where you can display a short note for your readers.

In the main column the post headline appears in a box with a kitten image on the side and post details like author name, time, labels and comments below it. While at the end of the post, social bookmarking icons like Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit etc., are placed. The images have been provided in the template folder, so upload them on a image-sharing site and change the relevant links in Edit Html.

The single column on the left can be used for labels, archives or any other blogger widgets. Each heading has pug marks next to it, which enhances the overall design of the blog.

A striking feature of this template was the placement of the two side columns next to the header, unlike other templates where the sidebars are below the header.

You can change the header image if you like from Edit Html, the rounded edges gives it a nice look. Below that is the post area, where the author name and date stamp is on top, while time, comments, labels are placed at the end of the post.

The two sidebars can be used to place blogger widgets of your choice or you can use the default widgets - Recent Posts, labels, comments, archives - as well. This template can be used for a personal blog or many other topics, depening on how you customise it.

For the food lovers here's a cute template to put your recipes. Gisele Jaquenod has created Birdie Meet the Chef 3 column blogger template. Her templates are based on the girl and birdie theme.
The header is interesting with the blog title and description appearing on steam coming from a soup bowl and on the left is the standard Birdie template image, the girl dressed in a chef outfit with the bird. The main column has a burger icon for the date stamp on top, while author name, time and labels come below the post.

Meet the Chef template has 2 sidebars on either side of the main column, the left sidebar is where about me or blogger profile is placed, then you can have blog archives, blog roll etc. Each category is separated by a cup cake icon. Whereas in the right sidebar you can have other widgets, recent posts, comments, best recipes and so on.

The 3 column template has no header, since the blog title is part of the main background, and below the heading you can add a one line description. Momochi's main column has a welcome message box on top with a cartoon character, you can use that box for daily quotes or any other feature.

Then the post starts with the date stamp on top and author name, time and comments appearing below the post. The two sidebars appear on either side of the template, both are similarly designed. You can have blog archives, recent posts or comments on the left, while the right sidebar can be used for about me, labels or any other widget you like to add.

The pink and white font colours goes well with the template theme, and yes its a girly theme. You can use it for your personal blog, random ramblings etc.

Designed by SimplyWP, Torn Paper template is converted from wordpress to blogger by Cebong Ipiet.
Torn Paper has an extremely simple layout and is easy to customize. The 3 column template has brown background with a darkish brown header that looks like a crumbled piece of paper. There is enough space to add the blog title and description. The menu bar features above the header, and the 3 columns have a white background.

The main column is simple with a neat box placed below headline to fit in the author name, date, labels and comments. The side column has the 'About me' where you can also put your picture, and then it breaks into two to add rest of your content.

Each header has a dark brown line underneath, to go with the theme. Torn Paper is a good and neat template for a personal blog.

Originally a wordpress theme by Good Design Web, the elegant Brown Line template was converted to Blogger by Falcon Hive. This 3-column template has a very attractive look and few interesting features. The template has an aurora-like effect in the header to go with the blog title and description. One of the special features of the template is the RSS button, which is well-placed on the far right of the header.

The navigation bar can be customised as per your needs and like many templates it has an hover-on colour. The comment button is quite creative, it appears next to the post headline in a small box.

Unlike other templates where the posts appear one below the other, Brownline has a border around each post, which highlights each post.
The rest of the main column is simple with time stamp and categories below the headline.

The sidebar has a ready search box and below it comes 3 slots to place your image ads, if you like. There is also a tabber widget already added in the template, to edit that you can go to Layout-Page Elements and you will find the tabs numbered - 1, 2, and 3. Click on '1' to set up content of that tab or add a gadget. The column breaks into two where you can add other gadgets. Overall, I liked this template design, there is enough place to add lot of Blogger features to display your content!

I am pleased to have found a new porter to blogger, let me introduce you to Falcon Hive who has ported this Japan Style template designed by Good Design Web.

The Japanese Style blogger template has a spectacular header image with a very oriental feel to it. The Blog title finds itself there with the blog description somehow seeming a little out of place. The page navigation bar comes next with some nice tabs that suit the theme and have a slight hover on effect.

The rest of the main column is fairly simple with the time stamp, labels and comment count at the bottom of the post. The single sidebar on the right starts of with a search bar. Apart from that the only interesting part is the footer with a custom subscribe to the RSS feed button and an attractive design once again.

The design overall has a parchment style to it with some beautiful graphic, though it lacks a lot of features the Japan Style Theme sure is one gorgeous blogger skin!

The Freedom wall blogger template was designed by Padd IT Solutions for wordpress and ported to blogger by Gosu.

A two column template that is a design bliss, a lovely background image of the wall, some nice flowery designs on either side of the container. A post date that does not take up space on the main column, a scissors cut out line that separates each post gives this post a very nice feel.

The header is plain and simple with place for the blog title and design, under that lies the navigation menu and after that the main column commences. There's nothing much too it, simple and neat with a sidebar on the right hand side.

The sidebar header colour seems to be a bit of a turn off for me and somehow it does not tend to blend in with the other colours in the theme. Apart from that this makes a wonderful skin for your blogspot blog.

Here's a template that was created by Made in Spain, with images and textures from Barracuda, the side menu has been obtained from Listamatic and the base skin has been taken from Finalsense.

As you would have realized from the description above, this template borrows features to be combined into one attractive skin for blogger. But although it works fine in Internet Explorer and the author claims firefox as well, it does not function too well on Opera. It may also tend to be a little buggy.

But for a simple two column template like poetry perhaps, it does make a very nice looking template with the pens and crayons beside it. Perhaps it could even be used for a kids blog. It has a bunch of navigational links that can be added or substracted from the edit html on the left hand side of the main column.

The blog title is displayed on what looks like a sheet of paper that sticks out from under the template. Although there is only one line available for the blog description. The post headline has a scribble of a blue under it, which even the side links get on hover on.

Overall theres nothing extremly special about this template apart from the fantastic design that made me want to put it up here.

The dream light template was created by Se7en and the beautiful image in the header was created by Elisabeth Perotin.

The Dream Light skin is a relatively simple two column blogger template except for the fact that the template have a gorgeous header that gives it a very musical feel.

Take a look at the psychedelic music for a demonstration of this template. It really suits a musical or dance theme, it has a very hippy silohuette dancing in the moon light.

Apart from that the blog only comes with an rss feature built in, it will require you to manually add all the other features that most blogs have nowdays. Although if you appreciate the finer arts of life you may like this template.

Ramani from Hackosphere created a template that would work efficiently in blogger beta by loading one column at a time. Suppose some one clicks on an article link on your blog, instead of the whole blog loading only the main post column will refresh to display the selected article.

The template is a simple three column template that can be seen in the screenshot below.


Arephyz then modified this fast loading template and gave it some rounded corners and made it quite beautiful as you can see in the screen shot below.

You can take a look at the neo template in the non functional psychedelic music blog. I am facing a slight problem where the added elements in the sidebar do not get the same background as the other elements, although I have not made the time to search for a fix yet.
