Unite Blogger Template

Unite Blogger Template is a 2 column wordpress theme converted by Sora templaes. Its a lovely template, compact and clean layout with featured content slider, 3 column footer, light and dark background available and social media icons.

The single menu bar on top includes dropdown option, to modify it, go to Edit Html and find this code -

Replace 'features' with your main category, under that you can add sub-categories, or even sub sub-categories below 'Home page'. The menu bar also includes subscribe to feed, facebook and twitter accounts. You need to add the links to your social profiles or page, simply search for this code in Edit Html and make the changes -

Moving on to the slider, find this code in Edit Html -

Change the post url, add alt text and image link, follow the same steps for all the slides and save the changes. Keep the image size 948px by 341px.

The main column neatly displays post summary with author name, comments and labels. You will also have to change the date format from Settings--Language and Formatting, go to Date Header Format and timestamp format, this will have to be done to avoid the 'undefined' error.

You can use the single sidebar on the right and the footer to display various blogger widgets like Contact, archives, popular posts and so on.

MovieSpot Blogger Template

MovieSpot is a 3 column blogger template designed by New Wp Themes and converted by to blogger by Lasantha. The theme features include slider, tabbed widget, dual navigation bar and 4 column footer.

The header logo can be added from Layout, keep the image size 388px x62px. The top menu bar shows all the blog pages automatically, and the second menu bar comes with a dropdown so you could add sub-categories. This is the code you have to look for in Edit Html -

Replace '#' with post link, add image url, post title (as indicated in the code), and post summary, repeat the same steps for other slides as well.

Photografia, the Photo Blogger Template

Photografia Blogger Template is a photographer's delight. Created by Templates Novo Blogger, Photografia would by far be the best theme I have seen on blogger for a photography blog.

This 2 column template is different then the conventional photo blog designs. It has lot more features that allows you to display your best photographs, write about it and even create your portfolio page. The home page has a mirrored menu bar consisting five boxes, which are fixed since its part of the background. Even if you don't have links to put in the five boxes, it will stay. For instance you can add page links like 'Home', 'About', 'Contact', 'Subscribe' and 'Portfolio' from Layout-Page Elements.

Below that is the slide show to exhibit your photos, you can upload images on photo-sharing sites, preferably 750x500, and click on Edit Html to place the image url. Search for this code -

The single column on the left side is customisable to suit your requirements, you can add any of the blogger gadgets available. Since the home page has a fixed height it would be better to put one or two widgets in the sidebar, because the more you add it tends to look untidy.

You can also display thumbnail images which expand when clicked, so the reader clicks on a thumbnail and gets to see the larger version of the image without having to leave the current page. For this you can activate the lightbox feature, by placing the following code in your internal page.

You can create a 'Portfolio' page and add the above code to display thumbnail images. The images appear on black background that goes perfectly well with any picture. Photografia Blogger Template would definitely be our choice when we start our photo blog.

Blue Bubbles Blogger Skin

Blue Bubbles is another beautiful template designed by Ray Creations. The 2 column template can be used for travel or nature blog.

The highlight of this template would be the header image and the artistic design around it, that instantly catches the eye, although you might find the header a bit similar to the Blue Blog. Adjacent to that is the menu bar and blog title. The theme has rounded corners which gel with the blue bubbles theme.

Then the rest of the design is quite simple. The main column has the author, date stamp and comments below the headline, with corresponding icons next to it. After each post there is 'Go to the top' link, so readers don't have to scroll all the way to the top.

The single sidebar has each section in a rounded blue bubble box, so you can add the remaining content. You can have a welcome message for your readers, blog archives, recent posts, comments and so on. Even the footer has a 'Go to the top' link on the right. Overall its a simple as well as an appealing blogger theme.

Transparency Blogger Theme

Here we have another template ported to blogger by Falcon Hive and originally designed for wordpress by ChiQ. Lets take a look at what this template has in store for us.

Transparency is a feature rich and crisp blogger template, it has a neat design that gives a blog a very organized feel. The blog starts with a navigation bar that has a hover on effect, this is placed on the left while the right hand side has a subscribe to RSS link.

Below that is the blog title on the left with the blog description under it while on the right hand side is a neatly placed small about me section that can hold a thumbnail image and has a more link that can lead to the about page for example.

There is a tiny spacer after this section and then you have a separate box for a featured post, this as well holds a medium sized image and has a read more link. After the featured box the template divides into the main column and the side column on the right.

The main column starts off with the post date on the left and the right hand side is the comments count followed by the post headline. The post body ends with the labels in a separator, followed by the next posts date and comment count. The drawback of transparency is that there is no default search bar built into it so you will have to create one or put in a google custom search bar.

Theres nothing great about the sidebar, no special features except that it starts as a single column template and then divides into two columns, you can add any widgets that you like in it, but overall the template does have a very pleasant feel.

Diary Online Blogger Template

An original design by WP Themes Master was ported to Blogger by Girly Blogger, a dark diary style template to join the never ending list of notepad & diary style themes.

The Diary Online template is a simple notepad style two column template, although you may notice that the fonts used are strikingly big and have immense clarity.

The color scheme is flouro on dark making it attractive, apart from the minimal header image this template has nothing fancy to it. The bottom of the posts find the comment and labels icons while under the headline lies the date and author stamp.

The single sidebar finds itself on the right of the main column with the same font that is standard throughout the blog. Though the top of the sidebar an image that makes the first widget stand out. The rest of it is fairly plain, some of the widgets have a dotted green border while the end of the footer finds itself with a green line.

Zinmag Remedy Blogspot Theme

The theme that takes blogger to the next level, Zinmag Remedy was created by Jinsona Design and ported to blogger by Falcon Hive. The hottest porters at the moment to blogspot, they have an incredible amount of templates churning out, I hope to feature all of them as and when possible.

A magazine template that will blow your mind away, the Zinmage comes with a double drop down bar, unlike the Arthemia template for blogger, this one works in IE6 as well. Under that is a featured post scroller that works wonderfully in all browsers I actually adapted it to my blog.

There is a featured post section on the left, its important to understand that the sections on the top and the left have to be manually created and this can take quite a bit of your time. But it sure will help in increasing your page views and boosting your seo as well.

The next thing is the big space to jot down something and the post space gives birth to a nice section that holds summarised post with the read more option. There is a tabbed navigation widget as well on the home page besides a slot for embedding videos.

The template also features two sidebars, a designed search button as well as a subscribe to feed section, RSS buttons on top and space for your blog title and description. This is definitely one of the templates I highly recommend!

Dreamworks Redux Blogspot Template

The dreamworks redux is a template designed by Vinh Le for wordpress and ported to blogger by Jackbook.

The Dreamworks Redux template is a fascinating two column template that has a unique style and approach as well. The blog title has a hover on color, while the description is the form of a speech bubble that points out to the sidebar where you can have your profile picture.

After that is the navigation menu, the posts come under that with a big post date, headline, comments link and the author. The labels are at the end of the post. There is a RSS icon at the start of the sidebar, every element here has a beautiful headline with hover on color changes.

The footer of the blog has three columns and a lovely headline here as well. The color use and the design of this blog is quite appealing.

Zixpk Blue Blogger Template

When Zixpk decided to change their site template they decided to get eblog templates to port the template to blogger and get it distributed for free of cost, giving us a fully functional three column dark template.

So this template not only have a great design, its fully loaded lets take a look at its features. A neat header, but an amazing navigation bar is what catches my fancy, as it spans the entire template and its background strip runs from the left to the right of the browser.

As you can see this template has already allocated spots for your advertisements. The posts on the main column have a separator on the top and the bottom. The posts start off with a big date line followed by the headline and the author, on the right is a nice blurb that holds the comment count.

Apart from that the sidebar starts of with a neat tabbed widget, where the tabs can only be seen with a mouse hover. It starts of as a single column sidebar and then breaks up into two. I like this template for its elegance, features and simplicity in design.

The Firebug Blogspot Template

The Firebug Theme was created by Blog Oh! Blog and converted to Blogger by ThemeLib.

Its rare to find a dark template that is colourful and well made at the same time, the use of colors in the Firebug theme makes it suitable for a modern art blog. The template itself looks like a piece of art if you ask me.

Not only is it beautiful its fully functional, well designed with a header that holds not only the blog title and description but an attractive searchbar that seems to be a little out of place on this template.

Under the header is the navigation link that plays with colors yet again. A bold headline lies under it with the post date, comment count and the author following below. The labels find themselves in a post seperator at the bottom of the post after that is a bunch of social bookmarking links that you can possibly reduce, but it doesn't look ugly even with all of them.

The sidebar starts off with a single column and branches into two, there are two unique boxes, one a subscribe to RSS and the other is an advertisment box available that holds thre 125 x 125 ads. The column then breaks into two parts, where you can place your widgets as well. I am pretty sure you like this theme, go ahead and download it!

The Gemstone Blogger Skin

The Gemstone template was designed by Arcsin and brought to blogger by Templates for you.

A rather compact header space makes way for three columns under it, that has been filled up by link lists in the image above. On the right hand side of this section you will find a spot to hold an adsense advertisment upto 360 x 100 pixels.

The sidebar has a little bit of a design, but apart from that its a single column simple sidebar. Every post is seperated by a blue strip that holds the post date and time. The headline of the post is below that with nothing fancy to it, the labels, comment counter and author stamp are found at the end of the post.

Overall the Gemstone template is a rather simple two column template template that has made good use of the header section. Its lack of icons also makes it a fast and light one to load.

Vertigo Blogspot Template

An original design by Brian Gardner for wordpress, and ported to blogger by Mizake who recently posted a comment letting me know about this template that he converted, so here is the Vertigo Template.

Black, Blue and White three column template that has everything a fully functional template on blogspot needs. It has the navigational menu links on top of the header image, the post headlines and sidebar headers are placed between a black line and a dotted strip.

The good part is that there are no date or time stamps for a person to know when the blog was last updated. Except at the end of the post when your mouse hovers the time stamp. The post labels and comments links are at the bottom of the post.

Both the sidebars are placed on the right hand side of the main column and are of varied sizes. Whats more important is that the footer of this template is divided into four sections which makes life very interesting. I love a template that can host a lot of stuff in the footer. It just makes it easier to have an uncluttered look.

Darkspark Blogger Skin

The Darkspark blogger template is derived from the original created by Make quick for wordpress. The template was then converted to blogger by Aborregate.

A beautiful template created for winter with a header image os snowflakes. The Darkspark template is a two column template with the title floating over the header on the left hand side.

It has a very neat set of menu buttons that float over the header image. It also has a post date stamp for the date at the start of each post. Apart from that it has no extra ordinary features. I spent some time working with the images in this template so that they can be seen, there was a problem with the images not showing. I spent a while on it, if you feel the need to appreciate my work you can link back.

Langit Blogger Skin

The Langit blogger template was originally designed by Eches for the wordpress platform and then converted to blogger by Gosu Blogger.

Every template on this blog has something unique, the same is for the new Langit skin which is a three column template. The template has a header with the navigational menu at the bottom left of it.

Under the header there are two division the one on the left has the recent articles displaye in two columns while the one on the right is the about me which flows to become the sidebar.

The sidebar has a search bar and then breaks up into two parts, the primary colors of this template are black, blue and white. The main post section has a black strip which divides each post and holds the post a comment link in electric blue.

To change the "Wordpress Theme" logo you can replace the link shown below.

Night Club Blogger Template

The template wars are back, with a lively dance theme which blogger did not have, the Night Club theme was created by Jacky Supit who has gotten back to designing a template after quite a while.

So here's a starry two column template that has a DJ spinning it, as the header image. The header image and the blog title and description form one section of the blog that is in a rounded border. Just above that are the navigational links divided by some shiny stars.

Under that starts the main column and the sidebar, the blogs primary colours are black and white. There are a couple of pictures on the sides that allow you to put up some random party pictures. The sad part is that the main column is kind of narrow and I personally wish this template was built for a higher resolution.

Mush Blue Blogger Template

The Mush blue template was originally created for blogger by Mukka Mu, it was then ported to blogger by Jacky Supit.

As you can see the Mush Blue Blogger template is a two column blue and black blogger template that looks very modern and technicolour.

The header has a very interesting image that sort of looks like a bike engine, it also has drops of blue in it. The font colour matches the theme very well and so does the RSS button which boasts of an electric blue colour. Even the date looks kind of digital, has a sleek icon and the search bar is beautifully embedded in the sidebar.

This template also has a unique feature where the colour of the left hand side background is black while the right has a gradient of blue. This makes the blog extremely different and bold. Its a good template for a new age blog or a radical blog as well.

Slined Mod 2.0 Blogger Template

One of the best four column blogger templates that was built for wordpress by Dandyna and is now available for blogger thanks to Jack Book who ported it.

This template looks extremely futuristic and would probably suite an electronic music or game blog the best. Of course don't leave it up to my judgement if you like this template you can go ahead and download it.

It has a big space for the header image or blog title with a neat set of links that form the navigational menu above it. There is one sidebar on the left and two on the right hand side.

The template has the colour black as its primary color while it has neon strips running on top of the headers of the sidebars and navigational menu. Its a lovely template for a blogger who has a lot of content to showcase, if you like you can go ahead and download it!
