Blue Travel Blogger Theme

Blue Travel is a 2 column travel-based template designed by Lasindu Nadishan. It includes a slider, dual navigation bar, social media and popular posts widget and 3 column footer.

Let's begin with the top menu bar, go to Edit Html and look for the below code -

Replace '#' with category links, add the corresponding categories, you can also add sub-categories below 'Pages', and save the changes.

The slider has a cascading effect, and the image loads up on hovering over it, to modify the slider, go to Edit Html and look for this code -

Replace the default links with the post urls, add title text, post title, img alt text and the image url, follow the same steps for the remaining slides. Make sure the image size is 600p×305px. Below the slider is the second menu bar, change the links from Edit Html, look for the following code -

You have to follow the same steps as the first menu bar, replace '#' with your links and add sub-category links under the default 'Business' category, here you could also add sub sub-menu under the default category 'Movies', save the changes.

The main column shows the summarised version of the posts with thumbnails and tags. While the sidebar is on the left where you can display different blogger widgets.

Thesis Theme for Blogger

The Thesis Theme is a well known worpress template for the ability to customize it to suit any website. Today we have the thesis theme for blogger ported by New Blogging Tipz.

The template like most modern blog themes comes with a slider, luckily its not one thats too heavy but a smaller one similar to the hybrid theme. Apart from that there are two navigation menus that provides you enough of space to display all your categories, pages and links. The thesis for blogger theme comes with social media icons, read more for posts, a bunch of floating icons, adsense ready widgets and placement and a extremely functional footer that can be seen below.

The footer offers a nice section for the labels, a three column footer and a cross section column after that where you can add what you like.

The perks are not just with the home page, each post has a nicely crafted section that includes an ad with prime position and social icons besides it. The end of the post has an author description widget where you have your pic and bio etc.

To customize the navbar just look for the words, home, label one etc and replace it with your own links, for further customization you can always refer to the author site or post a comment for help.

People Celebrity Blogger Theme

If you are looking for an entertainment or celebrity template then People blogger theme is apt for you. MJ Bahring has created a blogger version of the celebrity site People.com, its a 4 column theme which includes a photo gallery, featured posts slider, categories with an image display on the home page and much more.

Once the blog template is uploaded, you can replace the People logo with yours from Edit Html, search for the url mentioned below -

Evander Blogspot Template

Evander is a 2 column blogspot theme designed by Web2Feel and the blogger version is brought to us by BestTheme.

The highlights of this template are a nice slider,
social bookmarking icons and recent post thumbnail widget. The slider images appear on a MAC screen with the headline and a brief post summary. You can activate the slider from Design-Edit Html and look for the below code -

This theme comes with social bookmarking icons installed at the top of the right sidebar and below it is the recent posts with thumbnails widget. Change the link from Edit Html, find the below code and replace it with your blog link -

Sevim Blogger Theme

Sevim is a professional looking theme created by Newwpthemes and ported to blogger by Besttheme.

Its a 2 column blogger template with dual menu bars, each above and below the header. Next to the blog logo there is space for a banner ad. One of the features of this theme is the automatic slider that can be used to put up you favorite posts.

Each image is 610x320 px in size and appears with the post title and description. To activate the slider, access your Edit Html and search for this code -

Another Undersea World Blogger Skin

EZWPthemes has designed an interesting and cute theme called Another Undersea World, and its been brought to blogger by Theme Craft.

Its a 2 column template that is well-designed with an attractive header image. You can add your blog title at the top, next to it on the left is the RSS subscribe button and on the right is the internal search box. There is also a welcome note where you can add a message for your readers. This template header is slightly different as compared to other themes, because Recent Posts and Comments will appear right on top. To activate that you need to go to 'Layout' and under the 'Page Element' mode, click on 'Edit' of the 'Recent Posts' and paste the code below in the gadget -

The menu bar is placed at the bottom of the header. While in the main column the headline is on top and at the end of the post there are various icons, for labels, a nice time stamp, comments, and also social bookmarking icons, like Digg, Stumbleupon, Twitter etc.

Blue Mania Blogger Template

Blue Mania is a 2 column theme converted to blogger by TeknoMobi, and originally designed by SkinPress.

Blue Mania is a pleasant theme comprising shades of blue and a simple layout. Right at the top is the navigation bar with the drop down menu, so you can also add sub-categories to it. To access it, go to Edit Html and look for the following code and add the relevant links. Test 1 is the sub-category, so you can add the page url and title there.

Girly Nature Blogger Template

Girly Nature is developed by Template Lite and brought to blogger by Deluxe Templates.

The 3 column template has a sparkling header with the blue sky, bubbles, origami work and flowery design in the footer. The blog title and description appears on the same background. While the main column starts with the date stamp and other post details like author, timestamp, comments and labels are placed in a box at the bottom of the post.

The sidebar is interesting starting with the RSS icon, it has a nice mirror effect and below that is the search option perfectly shown with a picture of binoculars. After this you can add blogger widgets of your choice and each category comes in a dialogue box.

Overall Girly Nature is a decent theme that can be used for a personal or nature blog.

Night Sky Blogger Theme

Night Sky is a beautiful blogger theme created by Ray Creations. They create more visually appealing templates, but they aren't feature-rich.

The 2 column template has a lovely header, although the rest of the layout is quite simple. The plants, stars and the clouds make up for an attractive image where you can add your blog title and a short description. There is a thin strip for the menu bar right at the top to display your categories.

The main column is quite broad, starting with the headline and date, while below that comes in the author name and comments. The rounded sidebar, which also has a white background, can be used to add the About the blog section, followed by labels, archives etc. The template ends also with a nice footer image. Night Sky theme can be used for a nature or a personal blog.

Mobipress Blogger Template

Mobipress is a professional-looking template, originally created by Jinsona Design and converted to blogger by Cahaya Biru.

Its a 3-column template equipped with a nice header and two menu bars, one above and below the header. The title of the blog appears on the left above the header, adjacent to that a search box has been integrated in the layout along with the 'Subscribe to News' option. Below that is the blog image and good amount of space is provided to insert a welcome message for your readers. The welcome note can be added from Layout-Page Elements, click edit on text widget called 'welcome to my site.

You can set up both the menus by following the below steps.

For menu above the header, Go to Edit HTML, search for this code -

Change '#' symbol with your targeted url, and replace the word 'Title Here' with your own title.

For the menu below the header, Go to Edit HTML, search for this code -

<li><a href='PARENT-LINK-ADDRESS'>PARENT TITLE</a>

Replace PARENT-LINK-ADDRESS with your own link and put in your title for PARENT-TITLE.

While in the main column each post appears in white boxes with the Read More feature enabled, that gives it a neat look, and the author, datestamp and comments appear in pink boxes below the headline.

Mobipress template also has twitter incorporated in it, so you can simply add your twitter id in edit html and your twitter updates will appear in the sidebar. The side bar divides into two columns, that helps you to add more blogger widgets of your choice. This template is suitable for a business, mobiles, computers and technology blog.

Dreamy Blogger Template

I am always happy to come across a new designer or porter for blogger templates. Today we are introducing Dante Araujo a designer who has quite a few original blogger templates, lets take a look at his Dreamy Blogger Skin.

Well this template has very pleasant colours, pastel shades and mini posts on the homepage. Well it automatically picks up the first image makes it a thumbnail and displays it on your home page.

The template starts off with the blog title and description on the left, a couple of links on the right along with a search bar. The main container starts with a rounded navigation menu, then you have the mini posts with the headline, labels and comment number.

There is a sidebar on the right that has a simplistic design, over all this template has a good design and does well for a two column template!

Gamezine in White for Blogger

We earlier had put up the Gamezine template for blogspot that was converted by Cahaya Biru and designed for wordpress by Jinsona. Today's Gamezine Lite and White theme is a rework on the blogger Gamezine template by Cahaya.

The template structure, layout and elements like the sliders, gliders for featured posts are exactly the same as the original gamezine theme. Nothing has changed except the color of the template.

In the previous version the template had a black background, while this one has a white background for all the elements and that's how it gets its name.

Although I prefer black backgrounds as they save energy as well as are easier on the eye in terms of longer duration there have been many requests for this template. Do remember to upload the scripts onto your own site or hosting.

Business Talk Blogger Template

When we put up the Reflection template I spoke about how blogger lacks business templates and that this is refreshing business theme. Today we have another business template from Falcon Hive who has ported Ezwpthemes Business talk template for wordpress.

This template has quite a few features, it starts off with a business like header image, the blog title finds itself on the right hand side with a place for description below it. Then there is a tab navigation menu that does not have an effect for the page selected but a hover on. The sidebar stretches up into the header showcasing an RSS icon with a handwritten subscribe to feed.

Below that is a cross column section that is divided into three parts, one for Recent post, one for Recent comments and one is a post it that you can have a welcome note for your visitors.

There is a neat stitching like border that can be seen here and on the date as well. The posts don't have an author stamp but have labels on the right hand side below the headline. The end of the post has social bookmarking icons and a hand written comments icon on the bottom right.

The sidebar has a slight flaw with the search icon but apart from that is a basic sidebar with no extra ordinary features.

Bmagazine Premium Blogger Template

Magazine templates always fascinate me, today's template makes me filled with joy, a premium magazine template built for blogger and not ported from wordpress like the Zinmag series. The Bmagazine premium blogger template has been built by a fellow countryman Nitesh Kothari.

Its a difficult template to describe and by far the most feature rich template that I have come across for blogger. Nitesh has done a massive job, he also uses this template for his own website.

A small section above the blog title makes way for a date display, a single line to update your visitor list, a RSS subscribe for comments and post, a neat bunch of Home, About, Contact etc links with nice icons.

Next comes the blog title with space for a big leader board advertisement to fit in there on the right. We then come to a multi level drop down, possible to have category - sub category - sub sub category - sub sub sub category, although it does take a little while to load.

The next section is divided into three columns, a popular post widget with a rss link again, an about me section with a lovely hover on image effect, the third one is a subscribe to this blog section.

Under this in the main column you have two more sections where you can add widgets and then the posts start complete with a read more function, though theres no link leading to the full post forcing users to click on the headline, which some may not know.

The social bookmark icons are integrated at the top rather than the bottom, though there is a neat comments icon. Under the headline is the author and post stamp at the bottom of the mini post are the labels.

The sidebar starts off with three ad boxes, has a single column section and then splits into two unequal sections. Then we come to the footer once again is feature rich.

A three column footer for the bmagazine template, but what makes it unique is the follow me twitter icon and the up and down scroll bar on the left hand side. This makes this one of the most impressive templates we have come across till date! Kudos to Nikhil!

Magazeen Blogger Template

The Magazeen Blogspot theme pushes a two column template beyound the normal, the template was designed for wordpress by We Function, distributed on Smashingmagazine and most importantly converted to Blogger by Zona Cerebral.

Its rare to have a two column template that can display a lot of your content, so when you come across a template called Magazeen, you automatically expect it to feature a lot of content but does this template live upto its name? In short not really a Magazine template, but definetly worth trying out on a blog that does not feature too much content!

Don't get me wrong the template definely is cooler than most two columns, not just because of its jazzy design theres something more to it than just that. But lets start off from the begining, the header holds the blog title, the description is above it while a search bar is embedded on the right in it.

Under that is a navigation menu that spans the width of the page and also has a hover on effect. On the right of the menu is a tiny RSS icon, under the navigation bar is a beautiful thumbnail display of your featured posts. This display spans the width of the blog as well that can feature over eight of your favorite posts, with a mouse hover there is a shadow effect as well as the headline of the post is displayed over it.

The post section features a huge portion for comments, hopefully you have a lot of commentators on your blog, or a huge icon like this one with a 0 in it will be quite ridiculous. The big headline is above it and on the right hand side of it is the Author and Time Stamp.

Under the post area, there is a thin line dividing it from the read more link that is placed on the left and the labels are on the right. The sidebar is fairly normal and apart from that the next interesting part in the template is the footer that is divided into two sections. One section that holds the categories has a beautiful hover on change, the other side can be used to hold any widget you like as well.

FloraScent Blogger Template

Originally a wordpress theme designed by Lorelie of Toptut.com, FloraScent template has been converted to Blogger by Blogger Tricks. Well, they have few interesting templates there.

This two column template has an attractive header, which makes the template look really flowery and artistic. I wouldn't want to change an image like this.

Otherwise its a simple template, the search box is fitted in the header and there is enough space to put in the blog description. The main column has the datestamp and author name at the top with labels and comments at the bottom.

Although I didn't like the box around the date, it doesn't go with the theme. While the smaller column on the left can be used for your labels, archive, recent posts etc. The RSS icon is neatly fixed at the top of right-hand side column.

On the whole the design would go well with a theme-based blog on either art, flowers, or even 3D creation.

The CrystalX Blogger Theme

This CrystalX blogspot template was designed by Ken Dahlin and converted to Blogger by Themelib.

The CrystalX theme is a bright two column template that has a simple design but is elegant in a way. The template features a sidebar on the right and a header that accomidates not just the blog title and description but also a custom search bar, I feel you should put in your code there to earn a lil more from adsense.

Apart from that we have a nice navigation menu that spans the entire width of the blog. The RSS feed is there on the top right of the sidebar, the headline has a strip of blue as well as each widget heading in the sidebar. The hover on effect of the sidebar is quite nice as well.

Apart from that the flow of the blog colour from the headline to the bottom of the blog is quite nice. The time stamp, comments and author links are perched just below the headline with some neat icons.

At the bottom of the blog there is an icon that scrolls the blog all the way to the top when clicked, overall its a pleasent design and yet another from Themelib.com!

Typebased Blogspot Template

The Typebased blogger theme was created by Woo Themes and ported to blogger by the most active and currently the best porter to blogger Btemplates.

Its nice and refreshing to see a layout that is different from conventional templates. The major difference is the space provided on the left for the author name and the comment count besides the post. Theres one nice section for the RSS in the footer of the template that you will come across below.

Lets start off with the simple header text and description, under that is the tab like page navigation menu. The extreme left has a section for the date, author and comments. The column besides it has the headline on the top and labels at the bottom of it, the rest of it is simple.

The sidebar starts off with a search bar, a section to display four 125 x 125 advertisments is below this. The sidebar then breaks up into two columns and then starts a footer that is divided into multiple sections as well. You can place your links in one part while one is dedicated to the RSS feeds of your blog.

Techicon Blogger Theme

The Techicon template was designed by Blog Oh Blog and made into a blogspot template by BTemplates.

Four column templates are rare to find a special thanks to B-Templates.com for making this template available to us on blogger. Before we begin to dissect this template we notice that the structure of this blog is based on a simple two column structure more than a magazine template that makes it unique.

The template starts off with the main navigation in the header, with a google custom search on the right hand side. Under that is the blog title along with the description, below that we have three sections that can hold whatever you require.

The rest of the blog is divided into two main columns, in a 60:40 ratio. Where 60% comprises of your posts while the remaining 40 percent is broken up into three side bars on the right. Although there is one section that holds your advertisements on the top. I think its safe to assume there is a single sidebar column on top above these columns.

The post on top has the posted on time stamp, labels and comments link, it does not have the author though it can be easily added. The sidebar section on the right has a pale yellow background and the columns a perhaps a little thin. If you like this template you can go ahead and download it though!

Deep Blue Blogspot Theme

The Deep Blue theme was designed by Daily Blog Tips and ported to blogger by Blog and Web, its a simple two column template with some nice colors.

The Deep Blue Theme is a simple, yet attractive two column template. The designers have made note of every little icon and utilized some very pleasing colors to make a template that is quite gorgeous.

The blog starts off with a simple title and a description followed by an enticing search bar, you feel like using it just because it looks great. The RSS icon follows it a big bold one that makes itself clearly visible. The colorful tabs that change on a hover, along with the green background for the headlines make it very interesting.

After that is the Author and the Date and right at the bottom of the post are the labels and comments link. The sidebar has different shades of blue and splits from a single into a two column template.
