The two column template has a neat header, basically symbolising the mess on an office desk, which actually stands out in the entire template. But since there are so many images it can increase the loading time of the page. Desk Mess template also has a wooden background to add to the overall look.
The navigation bar is in the form of stapled chits of paper, where you can display the categories. While the main column is simple, I liked the way the comments would show up, like notes pinned on the board.
While the side column is just like any other template, except that the RSS icon is missing. Overall, its a creative and a simple template, which you can use if you have a personal blog or if run a blog on office gossip:).

you are suppose to use the upload function in blogger edit html and not copy or cut paste the html code
I love this template, and have been using it for awhile. But now I have a problem.
I do NOT like the way comments work in blogger, so have installed intensedebate for comments, which I like a lot better. But NOW, the little "slip of paper" that has the comments number in it now says "Comments" and the number below. In other words, it doesn't fit on the slip of paper anymore, and it looks awful.
Anyone know how to either change the size of the little piece of paper or to remove that "Comments" word so I can get back to just the number in parentheses? I do NOT want to switch templates--I love this.
I'm living with it as is for now, but I really want to change it. Like, A LOT.
Any advice?

Is it possible that at the Blog Archive section instead of by year/monthly/weekly/daily, am i able to make it by year than follow by my labels???

Guys, I figured out how to edit that part that says “Posts” “Edit” and all that stuff at the top of the navigation bar and make it whatever you want it to be (well almost). One thing is that you need to feel really comfortable and familiar with editing HTML. Firstly, you are looking for a section in your HTML that has a section where it says stuff like "Edit" "Posts" "Comment RSS". That is the section in which you can manipulate what is on the navigation bar at the top. Unfortunately, I am not able to copy an example of my HTML and put it on here but if you want to see what i have done, just email me at rockandvida@yahoo.com and I will send you my example.
This is exactly what mine looks like after I’ve changed it. Yours at this moment is going to say “Edit” “Post Rss” “Comments” until you modify it. Now here is the catch, you cannot really set those tabs to go to a website outside your blogsite. You can modify them so that they go automatically to a post you have published. There is only one tab you can modify to go to a website and that is the one that says “Edit”

That line above is the one where you can set it to a webpage. Remember when you were adding the web URL for images to those spots that you were supposed to when you were creating this site? There is a good chance that you’ve got the URL for that website in this section. I just changed mine so that anyone who clicks on it will go to my online web album with Picasa.
As for changing the name, that is simple. Just after that thing that say , just change the name there to whatever you want. But the other tabs, you cannot change the URL completely. It has to be directed to one of your blogposts. For example:

after the part that said” " “you have to put in address of the webpage where you want to send readers to. In my case, the full address of that webpage is http://tango2themoon.blogspot.com/2010/04/tango-2-moon.html
And all i needed to do is take that last section that says 2010/04/tango-2-moon.html and paste it onto that part that comes after " And I could also just change the title of what is on the paper clip by changing what comes after “Comments RSS”. You can refer to my website as an example and in this comment is my whole HTML after I modified it so I hope that helps as an example for you. Cheers!
