As the name goes, the main background of this template is a wooden fence with a colorful nature design in the header. The header image looks quite cool, it has photos hanging on a clothing line against the blue skies, next to it on the right you have to add your blog title and description.
Each post appears in a box that is nailed on the fence, that gives it a neat effect. The date stamp and author appears below the headline, while the labels and comments come at the end of the post. The sidebar has a search box stuck to the fence and then the column splits into two to help you add the rest of the blogger features.
Wooden Fence is suited for a personal blog, daily ramblings etc.

I am a blog amateur... I downloaded your template- which I love, by the way, but I'm a little unsure where to go from here... How am I supposed to upload it?
@ Beth Scott - hey no problem, we are here to help each other! After downloading it, extract the xml file, so drag it and save it on your desktop. Then take a back up of your current template, then simple click browse and upload the xml file. Thats it, its done. :)
i downloaded the file but when i go to upload it, it gives me errors, saying i need 2 passwords? did i do something wrong? the only thing i did was alter the header banner to put my 2 photos instead of yours....
also- will the name of the blog automatically go into the banner, or do i need to add that to the header before i reload the file???
thanks- LOVE this template
I was able to use editing program to change photos on the clothes line - how do I put that one in place of the default one?
hey..sorry...clyde..hi...can u specificly tell how to change the photos on the cloth line?i really cant locate the header image....
@ nicole @ michelle @ noname_26 - Its really not possible to change the images in the cloth line, it is possible on the wordpress version, but not on blogger. Changing the image will lead to problems in the design and layout of the template. Cheers and Good luck!
Michelle, sure you can change them with a simple photo editing tool like Gimp or Photoshop.
Just locate the header image and work on that one :) If you need more help will be of assistance.
I wish you all the best with your vow to help children around the world. They need all of us.
God Bless,

Is it possible to remove the "search" box and the graphic that looks like a Subscribe button?
@noname_26 the link is under the #header tag, I already changed my photos & uploaded, no probs but... I have a problem with the date stamp-- there is no date stamp; only a time stamp! Help~!
@ Dian
in the video guide section you will find a video called undefined undefined please watch it to get the date problem fixed
Seems to be a problem with the comment form. When users attempt to comment using their Google account, Google brings up their captcha dialog, which doesn't fit in the #commentform block. I can't seem to find a good way to fix this. Do you have any ideas?
@ Kristina
I would like to take a look at the blog, do leave your link as to where the issue is..
Hi Clyde! First of all... Happy New Year and thanks for sharing this beautiful template. I've replaced my old template with this new one but just couldn't find a way to work around 2 glitches:
1) My blog post date stamp is not showing, saw the "undefined" video, made the adjustments, but still the date would not show on my posts; and
2) I like the search design on the right side, but how do I get it to direct to searching within my posts? In the original template the search button directs to URL: http://demo.templatelite.com, I managed to tweak and edit the html and replaced it with my URL, but the search function just doesn't work.
Would really appreciate your help on these issues. Thank you so much!

Hi, it's me again... just a quick update on my queries - I managed to fix the date issue, turns out I have to untick the 1st box at "configure blog post" and choose the 3rd one instead... hmmm, quite tricky. So it's just the search issue that remains unsolved for me. Thanks! Will wait for your reply. God bless =)
@ Mariz - Happy New Year to you too!:) great you fixed the date issue. For the search function to work, go to Layout--Edit HTML, tick on Expand Widget Templates, and search for the code below:
action='http://demo.templatelite.com/'
and replace it with this code and save the changes:) have a great year!
hi clyde! thanks for the reply, where is the code? (you didn't get to write it).
all the best to your site this 2010 =)
