Showcase Blog Template edit post

The showcase blog template is an original design by Dante Araujo, this would make a good photo blog template or an art template, basically if you have content that would look good with a gallery setting.
Showcase Blog Template
Firstly this is definitely a unique design on blogger, I have not come across many templates that have a full display section on the home page. But lets take a look at it from the start.

The template starts off with a small navbar on the top, except the left hand side holds a small description while the right holds the links. Below that is the header description, the page then divides into two sections, the main column that is futher divided into two, while the sidebar is on the right hand side.

The main column displays thumbnail images of the posts while on the top of the thumbnail the headline is displayed with a hover on effect. Below that is a comments link, the page ends with a beautiful right arrow icon, in the internal pages as well, the left right arrows and the home icon is gorgeous.

The sidebar has these lovely large icons, but the contrasting color throughout the template kind of make the sidebar look bland. A nice rss icon is present in the start of the sidebar, but overall its a great template to showcase your blogs content.

I see you managed to figure it out, basically you need to have an image in the start of the post!

  7. but before, when I tried using this template, only picture is on each box. then I install this template again and got this result.

is there any way to make it only pictures in the 'Home' page in each box?

Thanks for replying me earlier ^-^

does that mean you want to remove the headline from the images? if so you will have to play around with the edit html ... i think its possible but will take some time to figure out

  9. Hi,

I added the page widget, but it doesn't work on this blog. Anyway where I can get it to work? Basically, after adding a page, when I click on the page, it just links to somewhat like the main page with the page ("shrunk") in one corner. When I click on it, unlike the blog post which will expand for the full post, the page does not show the full page. Can I get some help for this? Thanks a lot.

    Regards,
    Nicole

this template was created prior to blogger introducing the page feature, im not sure if it supports pages

why dont you use a post instead of a page?
