The Blue Steel template's main features include:
- An optional magazine style layout for the home page
- Optional customized recent posts widget for the sidebar
- Themed icons for sidebar widgets, post features and post options
- Custom made favicon to match the blog theme
- Integrated search function
- Tabbed navigation with easy customization of links
- Related articles beneath each post on post pages
- Integrated (optional) post summary hack
Although I feel the choice of colours could make this template pretty lively, the functionality of this template is really good as it has a lot of space for widgets to be added, it comes with expandable posts and a recent articles widget.
The template is meant to have only one post on the home page, the rest of the articles can be seen via the recent articles widget. Of course these settings can be changed. There is a complete step by step instruction file provided in the zip file for downloading the template. So if you like it you can go ahead and get the blue steel template.

Comments don't appear to function on this template. The same problem existed on the Problogger template. Is this a template wide design flaw, or it is intentional?
look for this line in your edit html <b:include data='post' name='comments' />
and add the line below immediately after it
<b:include data='post' name='comment-form'/>
this is the problem that occured when blogger started enabling comments below the posts
Do you know how put avatars in comments in this template ?
tank's !, great templates
@ Integralny - Go to Layout-Edit Html, save the template by clicking on download full template, just to be safer. Then search for the following code -
<dl id='comments-block'>
and replace it with this code -
<dl expr:class='data:post.avatarIndentClass' id='comments-block'>
Then search for this code -
<a expr:name='data:comment.anchorName'/>
and add this one right below it -
<b:if cond='data:blog.enabledCommentProfileImages'>
<data:comment.authorAvatarImage/>
</b:if>
Save the template and you are done.:)
@ Bhavika -

@ Dr Kavita
its sad that you have a big notice asking people to not copy the work on your site... but you have removed the template authors and link and basically rob their work...
please find help somewhere else or put back the links that came with the template...
