Torn Paper has an extremely simple layout and is easy to customize. The 3 column template has brown background with a darkish brown header that looks like a crumbled piece of paper. There is enough space to add the blog title and description. The menu bar features above the header, and the 3 columns have a white background.
The main column is simple with a neat box placed below headline to fit in the author name, date, labels and comments. The side column has the 'About me' where you can also put your picture, and then it breaks into two to add rest of your content.
Each header has a dark brown line underneath, to go with the theme. Torn Paper is a good and neat template for a personal blog.

I'm having trouble with the Labels widget in this template. Blogger is giving me the option to display Labels as a cloud or in order of frequency or to display the number of posts next to the label. Despite selecting these options, the Labels display does not change. It continues to stay an alphabetical list. Can this be fixeD?
@ Zeenat Rasheed - The frequency feature works, but cloud and the number of posts next to the label might not work in all templates, since its a new feature of blogger. You can contact the author of the template in case of more clarifications.:)
