Funky Zine Blogger Template

The FunkyZine blogger templates has been ported to blogger by Blogger Tricks and was originally designed for wordpress by Wpthemedesigner.

The FunkyZine template is a rounded three column template that has four spots for you to either showcase your content or to place advertisments. The sidebar has one column on the top and is divided into two as you proceed below.

The big image header can be changed to your blog title by replacing the image that says FunkyZine, look for the logo.jpg in your edit HTML. Just besides the header you find a strip of links that can be used to navigate the blog.

The post structure looks very neat as the headline, comments, author and labels all find themselves in a neatly dotted section making it a very crisp design. The start of the sidebar holds a search bar that has a big magnifying glass icon.

A very beautiful RSS icon adorns the sidebar as well, but if you notice the headers of the sidebar are just in a bigger font. Now the sidebar does not have a background color, nor does it have any seperators between the two sidebar columns which makes it a little haphazard when you compare it to the neat post section.

Embouteilllage Blogger Template

The Embouteilllage template was created by Free CSS templates and brought to blogger by Aborregate.

Another beautiful blogger template, it can never be said that blogspot does not have any beautiful templates because now Blogger Blog Templates has more than 100 beautiful blogger templates.

Anyway Embouteillage is a three column template with a bright red header, the blog title is where its suppose to be but the description finds itself on the extreme right of it. Just under that is a navigational menu that extends from the left to the right.

The main column holds a strong red headline, while tha author, time stamp, comments link and the labels find themselves at the bottom of the post adorned with a nice icon. The headers in the sidebar find themselves with a red lil arrow and a dotted seperator, the same seperator can be found at the bottom of the post.

If you digg dark themes then this one is one you may just like!

Genki Blogger Theme

Our friend Gosu Blogger is back in action after quite a while, but hes gotten us a lovely template called Genki. Originally created for wordpress by Ericulous, Genki means cheerfulness, vibrancy and vitality in Japanese.

The Genki blogger theme has a minimalistic design, but includes one very rocking feature. The blue tabs along with the RSS button feed on the left hand side of the template scroll as you scroll up and down the template.

The rest of it is very plain, although this template has its labels with the same font size as the headlines just below the headline along with the time stamp on the left. The comments link is at the bottom of the post, the two sidebars are located on the right hand side of the template, with nothing much to talk about them.

The readers may have a little issue when it comes to understanding where the main column ends and where the sidebar starts. Apart from that this template is really very neat, to say the least, if you like go ahead and download it.

GossipCity Blogger Theme

GossipCity is originally a wordpress theme by Design Disease and converted to blogger by Blog and Web.

So here we have a template that caters to all the bloggers who blog about celebrities and stars. GossipCity is a well designed template that is fully packed from the header to the footer of the skin.

On the top left you find the blog title, above that there is space for the description of the blog. The header has two tones of blue and the right of it has multi colored stars. Just under that is the navigational menu that hosts links on the left, RSS buttons on the middle right and a search bar on the right.

The time stamp is located above the post headline, the color used for the headline especially on the mouse hover is very appealing, the labels find themselves under the headline after the author stamp. The comments link is located at the end of the post and has a cute icon besides it.

The sidebar has two columns of different widths located on the left hand side, but the footer is what I really like, divided into three columns that can be used for various widgets.

Honest Expressions Blogger Template

A simple beautiful template originally created by Free Wordpress Layoutsand ported to blogger by Abboregate, although it does not function well with IE6.

The Honest Expressions template is a minimalistic style three column template that makes use of rounded edges to give it a very appealing look. The navigational menu buttons can be found in the header just below a blog title that has a fading rounded box around it.

The top of every post finds itself in a gray rounded section that fades after the first five lines of the post. The headline is in a light orange colour, the post time stamp, author and comments link are at the bottom of the post. The labels appear below the above line.

The two sidebars on the right have lovely rounded headers for every widget and both of them are of equal width. At the bottom is a simple footer where you can add some more elements if you like.

Genesis Blogger Template

The Genesis blogger template is brought to you by Infocreek, it is a three column black and gray blogger template.

I think this is by far one of the most beautiful black templates that I have seen so far. The main colour is black, with a touch of gray and a hint of orange. The blog title is displayed with a fluorescent orange tinge, the post headline and the comments link has the same colour.

The header is seperated by a gray strip, the part of the strip over the main column hosts a couple of links, not enough, perhaps space enough for two or three, but it holds a dull RSS icon that shines bright on a mouse hover. The part of the strip over the sidebars hosts the search widget.

The sidebar elements have a very beautiful mouse hover as you can see in the image, the overtime link is hovered on. Each element also has a well defined header, and not to miss the orange hover on for the older posts button.

After you upload the XML Template file, do not preview your blog untill you go to Layout and add at least one link to the "Top Menu" widget. To see the post date your Timestamp style needs to be "Wednesday, January 30, 2008".

The Gemstone Blogger Skin

The Gemstone template was designed by Arcsin and brought to blogger by Templates for you.

A rather compact header space makes way for three columns under it, that has been filled up by link lists in the image above. On the right hand side of this section you will find a spot to hold an adsense advertisment upto 360 x 100 pixels.

The sidebar has a little bit of a design, but apart from that its a single column simple sidebar. Every post is seperated by a blue strip that holds the post date and time. The headline of the post is below that with nothing fancy to it, the labels, comment counter and author stamp are found at the end of the post.

Overall the Gemstone template is a rather simple two column template template that has made good use of the header section. Its lack of icons also makes it a fast and light one to load.

Mosaico Blogger Template

The Mosaico template's Mosaic design was created by Free CSS Templates and ported to blogger by Blog and Web.

An extremely beautiful Mosaic design, an unusual blog title that rests on the top left of the blog header. Under that is a big bold navigational menu, the template has a feel of recycled or hand made paper.

Every post looks like it has been taped to the blog, phenomenal icons for the post date and comment count. Even the label buttons at the bottom of the post have a nice hover on. The sidebar has a nice search button on it and every element in the sidebar looks like a post it.

Not only this blog has a nice design it has a two column footer at the bottom of the main column.

Agenda 01 Blogger Template

Here's a template that was created by Made in Spain, with images and textures from Barracuda, the side menu has been obtained from Listamatic and the base skin has been taken from Finalsense.

As you would have realized from the description above, this template borrows features to be combined into one attractive skin for blogger. But although it works fine in Internet Explorer and the author claims firefox as well, it does not function too well on Opera. It may also tend to be a little buggy.

But for a simple two column template like poetry perhaps, it does make a very nice looking template with the pens and crayons beside it. Perhaps it could even be used for a kids blog. It has a bunch of navigational links that can be added or substracted from the edit html on the left hand side of the main column.

The blog title is displayed on what looks like a sheet of paper that sticks out from under the template. Although there is only one line available for the blog description. The post headline has a scribble of a blue under it, which even the side links get on hover on.

Overall theres nothing extremly special about this template apart from the fantastic design that made me want to put it up here.

Neonix a One Column Template

One column templates serve as a good tool for photo bloggers, perhaps not the bloggers who want to set up a shop as well on their site but for someone who wants to just write a bit and showcase their pictures, single column templates are a quite handy.

Neonix is a rather thin single column template brought to blogger by Blog and Web and originally designed by Free CSS Templates.

This template has a unique feature that stands right out in the header, just besides the blog title is a nice set of links that make up for the lack of a horizontal navigation menu. The theme is fairly simple with its bright almost florescent green and white colours.

The post headline seems to be in lower case with the time stamp placed above it. The end of the post has the author stamp and the labels with some neat icons. Just above the footer of the blog is a link to subscribe to the RSS feed. The placement of the feed link is good especially since the footer can hold widgets.

The footer is divided into two columns that can hold widgets, this is something I like to see in a single column template, the footer being made more use of. I usually like the header to have a section that can hold more widgets, you can do that if you know CSS, its pretty simple. Graffiti Art Template

The Graffiti Art template was originally created for wordpress by WP Galaxy and ported to blogger by Blogger Tricks.

This template comes with a mind bending 3D image in the header that gives the theme its graffiti outlook. With the template devoid of its header it seems to be nothing more than a two column template with a neat navigational menu.

The title is situated on the top left on a semi transparent background with the description under it. The navigational menu sticks to the orange color that can be found all over the blog. On hover the button becomes white and the text retains the orange.

The post time stamp and author appear under the headline along with the comments on the right, while the labels find themself at the bottom of the post. The side bar has big feed reader subscription link on the top right, a search bar below that and the rest of it depends on your widgets. Apart from the header image theres nothing much to this template to be honest, you will find many others that are better here.
