Blue Bubbles Blogger Skin edit post

Posted by Bhavika On Friday, May 22, 2009 5 comments
Blue Bubbles is another beautiful template designed by Ray Creations. The 2 column template can be used for travel or nature blog. Blue Bubbles blogger template
The highlight of this template would be the header image and the artistic design around it, that instantly catches the eye, although you might find the header a bit similar to the Blue Blog. Adjacent to that is the menu bar and blog title. The theme has rounded corners which gel with the blue bubbles theme.

Then the rest of the design is quite simple. The main column has the author, date stamp and comments below the headline, with corresponding icons next to it. After each post there is 'Go to the top' link, so readers don't have to scroll all the way to the top.

The single sidebar has each section in a rounded blue bubble box, so you can add the remaining content. You can have a welcome message for your readers, blog archives, recent posts, comments and so on. Even the footer has a 'Go to the top' link on the right. Overall its a simple as well as an appealing blogger theme.

Red Light blogger theme is an original wordpress theme of Template Lite and converted by Blogger Styles. If you liked the Green Light template then this one is much more sparky. Red Light blogger template
Red Light has a flashy and artistic header which makes the blog title and description stand out, while the menu bar is placed above the header. The 3 column template has two sidebars positioned on the left and the right side.

The main column has a white background and a big date stamp next to the post headline, while the labels, comments are at the bottom of the post.

You can fit in your widgets and categories in the two sidebars. The right column has a nice RSS icon embedded in the design, followed by a small search box. Then you can place your blog roll, labels or an interactive widget as well in the right hand column.

Flower Blogging Blogspot Theme edit post

The Blogging Blogger template is what its original theme, but since its theme is flowers it will suit anyone who blogs about flowers. The template was created by Free CSS Templates and ported to bloger by Herro.
Flower Blogging Blogspot Theme
As its clearly seen this template revolves around flowers, from the header to the footer a neat icon of a blooming plant can be seen in several places. The template starts off with a nice rounded header section, the top is a link menu bar with the search bar on the right.

Below that is a gorgeous flower, that makes the blog look attractive. The sidebar is situated on the left and every widget has a rounded header with the same flower icon.

The date is on top of the first post, it appears again when you post on another day. The headline is situated in a similar rounded section, with a comments link at the bottom of the page. The template does not have an author or labels section, but it has a very crisp design.

Tired Girl Blogger Template edit post

Posted by Clyde On Friday, May 15, 2009 10 comments
The tired girl blogger template is a simple design by Skin Corner, with a girl sitting in the corner, kind of tired :)
Tired Girl Blogger Template
I have noticed that most three column templates that have a simple layout tend to have one column on the left and one on the right. This template is no different. Apart from the lovely header, the template does not boast of being feature rich.

The header hold the blog title and description with a lot of free space, which is kind of a waste. But just below it are three tabs that can help with the blog navigation. The template seems to be a modified version of the default blogger template for some reason.

The time stamp appears once in the main column after that it appears when a post is published the next day. The author name and time appear just under the headline while the comments appear at the post bottom.

The second sidebar on the right starts off with a search bar, apart from this its a very simple template!

Meet the Chef Blogger Theme edit post

For the food lovers here's a cute template to put your recipes. Gisele Jaquenod has created Birdie Meet the Chef 3 column blogger template. Her templates are based on the girl and birdie theme. Meet the Chef Blogger Theme
The header is interesting with the blog title and description appearing on steam coming from a soup bowl and on the left is the standard Birdie template image, the girl dressed in a chef outfit with the bird. The main column has a burger icon for the date stamp on top, while author name, time and labels come below the post.

Meet the Chef template has 2 sidebars on either side of the main column, the left sidebar is where about me or blogger profile is placed, then you can have blog archives, blog roll etc. Each category is separated by a cup cake icon. Whereas in the right sidebar you can have other widgets, recent posts, comments, best recipes and so on.

The color scheme is quite pleasant and simple, like all her templates. If the theme goes well with your food recipes then you can download the template from the link below.

Flower Garden, the Cute Blogger Theme edit post

Posted by Bhavika On Thursday, May 07, 2009 29 comments
Flower Garden is a cute and girly blogger theme designed by Cebong Ipiet, she does create lot of flowery and women-based themes. Although this one is quite interesting! Flower Garden Blogger Theme
Flower Garden features a unique header image, the clouds and butterflies move along with the movement of the mouse on the header. So the butterflies fly over the flowers, that's lovely as she hasn't used any flash for that feature, only javascript. So it loads in no time.

This templates is available in 3 and 2 column versions. Most of the features are similar in both the versions, except the footer column. Moving ahead with the common features, the menu bar is below the header, followed by the main column where each post appears in a separate white box.

The expandable post feature is integrated in the template, and check out the 'Read More' icon, its cute with a butterfly on top. The sidebar has a separate search box, below that is space for sponsor links or ads, if you don't want to use that you can remove it. Footer of Flower Garden Blogger Theme

The column splits into two so you can include your other features while in 2 column each box is wide enough. There is a footer section as well in 3 column template to add your recent posts, comments, blog roll etc.

Dark Mistry a Gorgeous Blogger Template edit post

Posted by Clyde On Thursday, May 07, 2009 2 comments
Here's another creation from Ray Creations India, Dark Mistry is an original creation for wordpress and blogger. I seem to particularly like this theme, the colour, design and the look of it are quite appealing.
Dark Mistry
Although this is a simple two column template, its intricate design makes it stand out as compared to many two column templates. The template starts off with a fascinating image of a tree with water around it, casting its reflection with a few rocks scattered around.

The blog title and description are placed just above the horizon in the design which gives it the feel of a separator. The two columns look like they have been bound together, the main column starts off with the headline, and then a grey rounded strip below it holds the Author, Time and Comments stamps with neat icons.

Random spirals are found in many places, whats particularly interesing is the seperate section for each widget in the sidebar. This kindof adds to the templates design, the sidebar begins with subscribe to the feed icons. The footer puts a nice end to this theme thats more design that feature focused.

Momochi Blogger Theme edit post

This template is specially made for all the girls. Designed by Cebong Ipiet, Momochi Blogger template has a simple layout ideally suited for a personal blog. Momochi Blogger Template
The 3 column template has no header, since the blog title is part of the main background, and below the heading you can add a one line description. Momochi's main column has a welcome message box on top with a cartoon character, you can use that box for daily quotes or any other feature.

Then the post starts with the date stamp on top and author name, time and comments appearing below the post. The two sidebars appear on either side of the template, both are similarly designed. You can have blog archives, recent posts or comments on the left, while the right sidebar can be used for about me, labels or any other widget you like to add.

The pink and white font colours goes well with the template theme, and yes its a girly theme. You can use it for your personal blog, random ramblings etc.

Scarlett Blogger Template edit post

Cahaya has definetly created a name for himself among blogspot users for his conversions of some of the finest wordpress themes by Jinsona. Today we take a look at the converted Scarlett Theme, in short its magnificent!
Scarlett Blogger Template
The Scarlett theme begins with a navigation menu right on top, under it comes the header image on the left while the right has a search bar neatly designed into the template. Under that is place for a leader board advertisement.

Now comes the drop down menu, before the slider that is found on many of the Zinmag Series Templates. The main column's posts are neatly divided with an automatic read more function. Under the headline is a neat icon for the Author and time stamp, while the end of the mini post has the labels. There is no comment count on the homepage which perhaps is good for a blog that does not receive too many comments!

The specialty of the sidebar is the auto rotating top posts, you can choose the content in this widget and it keeps rotating with a nice disappearing effect at a specified time delay.

Then comes a very sleek tabber that has a cool effect when you select the tabs, the sidebar starts off as a single column and then branches into two. You also have a sponsors section that you can knock off if you choose too.

The footer is divided into three columns with a special about me and twitter section with matching icons!

Big Head is a 2 column blogger theme created by Pocket. His themes are original and quite different then the regular blogger templates. Big Head Blogger Theme
Big Head is a black and white template with a fixed design on either sides, so only the 2 columns would scroll. It has a left sidebar as well. OS beginning with the header, which is a rounded black box to fit in the blog title and description.

The design comprising a big head man on the right and the sign board on the left is ideal for a personal or people blog. The main column has the date above the post headline and author name, comments and labels appears below the post. Its on a plain white background while the sidebar has the subscribe option, you can use a black RSS icon there.

That's followed by the standard features in a blogger template, labels, archive and about me. There is no search box and menu bar in this template, you can fit in the categories and a search box in the sidebar.

Green is an Attractive Colour edit post

Posted by Clyde On Monday, May 04, 2009 1 comments
Green is an attractive colour is actually a template by Bontoo called, Hijau Itu Menawan, Cahaya translated the name for me, which I am grateful for! Anyway lets take a look at what this template has to offer us.
Hijau itu Menawan
Hijau itu menawan, is a unique template in terms of design, it starts of with two hand drawn people with red hearts speaking. One of them introduces the blog, as the speech bubble holds the blog title and blog description.

Apart from that the entire page layout has a nice design, the time stamp is displayed in a cloud that floats outside the main column, besides the post headline. The headline is in a section created with a similar hand drawn image of the person, only this time hes looking at the post.

Under the post section is the posted by author, then there seems to be a tiny bug with the post date repeating twice, and there are no labels displayed. But under this is a separator that holds the comments count.

Each section in the sidebar starts off with a flower icon and each line has a nice little icon on the left of it. The entire template is on a background of clouds, this makes it really attractive.

Dark Forest Blogger Theme edit post

Posted by Bhavika On Monday, May 04, 2009 12 comments
Here's a new blogger theme called Dark Forest, created by an Indian company Ray Creations. They seem to be relatively new in the designing field, but they have created some interesting blogger templates. Dark Forest Blogger Theme
As the name suggests, Dark Forest is a 2 column template with nature as its main theme. The header has a beautiful landscape picture, where you can add your blog title and description. On the top right corner there is space to add your Comments and Posts RSS.

The two columns appear on a blue background with floral designs on top, and then the main column has a white background, on top of the blue. Next to the post headline is a neat calender icon for the date, and below it is the labels and comments icon.

The sidebar, which has a brownish background, starts with a search box and its designed in a way like its clipped to the sidebar. Then you can add the section you like, the default ones are welcome note, archives and labels. Each headline has a flowery design as its icon that looks quite pretty.

If you have a personal blog or a nature blog, then you might want to consider using this theme.

Gamezine in White for Blogger edit post

Posted by Clyde On Monday, May 04, 2009 2 comments
We earlier had put up the Gamezine template for blogspot that was converted by Cahaya Biru and designed for wordpress by Jinsona. Today's Gamezine Lite and White theme is a rework on the blogger Gamezine template by Cahaya.
Gamezine in White and Lite
The template structure, layout and elements like the sliders, gliders for featured posts are exactly the same as the original gamezine theme. Nothing has changed except the color of the template.

In the previous version the template had a black background, while this one has a white background for all the elements and that's how it gets its name.

Although I prefer black backgrounds as they save energy as well as are easier on the eye in terms of longer duration there have been many requests for this template. Do remember to upload the scripts onto your own site or hosting.
