The Beautiful day template has been ported to blogger by Erica, it was originally a free html template by Arcsin. If you take a look at the screenshot, you can see how beautiful this template is. Erica things this template has beautiful graphics and colour and I agree with her. I like the use of pastel shades in this blog and the feeling it provides.

I highly recommend this template for an anti war blog or a blog that is pro peace. The Beautiful day blogger skin gives out a feeling of peacefulness as well as elegance. It is a two column blogger template with some nicely flushed buttons just under the header.

The links to the buttons in the header can be modified via your add a page element and it is also possible to add widgets into the footer.

Here we have yet another wordpress skin created by N.Design Studio, if you visited that site you will find this design a tad bit simple as compared to the wonderful colours emitting from the background image there.

The Glossy Blue Template was ported to us by Blogcrowds, that also has the html parser that I use to display adsense ads in the post.Theres nothing fancy about this two column blogger template, although that does not discount it from being another elegant template for blogger. The template maintains its usage of colors to a minimum with gradients of blue and green.

If you take a look at the template, the color of the buttons in the header are quite appealing. The entire feel of the blog is quite nice because of the color usage it gives the blog a pleasant feel and is literally relaxing on the eye.

I also feel that it would make your images and advertisements more noticeable as they would tend to stick out on this template. I have added all the necessary image files in the zip folder below, you will have to host them and change the links in the template file.

The New Fangled template was brought to us by Erica Akira once again, she converted this template from free css templates for a friend of hers who was looking out for a simple looking template.The new fangled template is a three column template that is very pleasing on the eye. if you take a look at the colors used it gives the blog a very relaxing cozy feel.

The links on the top of the blog can be easily customized from your add a page element menu, thanks to Erica. Take a look at the curves on the sidebars the left sidebar curves on the left in the title area and the right on the right. If you notice the google advertisment doesnt have a title and does not curve.

This template does give a very casual feel to a blog, it would make a good nature, adventure or holiday type of blog.

The Dilectio blogger template has been ported by Jacky Supit and is also called as the wow or smashing blogger template. I prefer the word Dilectio, given to us by its orignal creator Design Disease who created this template for wordpress.

This theme was created for a contest run by Smashing Magazine who asked for a “simple, beautiful and user-friendly” template. It definetly maages to do that and its the same template that this blog uses.

Dilectio is the latin word for “love, solicitude, esteem”. The creator of the template states that it’s a rather atmospheric theme and to achieve this effect he started from scratch to make this template give a feeling, the rounded shape that is repeating randomly, creates a beautiful and original rhythm.

I really appreciate this template and it is by far one of the most beautiful templates I have seen for blogger. Although the blogger version seems to have a bug where the Author name does not appear.

The solution to the author problem is rather simple, go to the edit html settings of this template, expand widgets and search for the code highlighted below.
Once you find the code below change the post.Author to post.author and save the template. This should get this bug fixed, if you have a problem with the date not appearing then take a look at this post. I do hope you enjoyed this free blogger template, lots more coming soon.

The Blue Salmon blogger template is another blogger skin borrowed from wordpress, it was originally created by Justin. Jack ported it to blogger and its quite beauiful template. You can view a demonstration of this template over here.

If you notice the color contrasts are superb, the little links on the top left, the bold menu buttons, a neat floating search bar and some clear concise font makes this template extremly attractive. This template is a two column template but you can add three widgets at the bottom just above the footer.

For the post calendar to work you will need to,

Go to your Blogger Dashboard, Settings and then Formatting, there you’ll see the Timestamp format option. You need to choose this style: Friday, September 21, 2007 for your post date function to work.
