The Typebased blogger theme was created by Woo Themes and ported to blogger by the most active and currently the best porter to blogger Btemplates.

Its nice and refreshing to see a layout that is different from conventional templates. The major difference is the space provided on the left for the author name and the comment count besides the post. Theres one nice section for the RSS in the footer of the template that you will come across below.

Lets start off with the simple header text and description, under that is the tab like page navigation menu. The extreme left has a section for the date, author and comments. The column besides it has the headline on the top and labels at the bottom of it, the rest of it is simple.

The sidebar starts off with a search bar, a section to display four 125 x 125 advertisments is below this. The sidebar then breaks up into two columns and then starts a footer that is divided into multiple sections as well. You can place your links in one part while one is dedicated to the RSS feeds of your blog.

The Techicon template was designed by Blog Oh Blog and made into a blogspot template by BTemplates.

Four column templates are rare to find a special thanks to B-Templates.com for making this template available to us on blogger. Before we begin to dissect this template we notice that the structure of this blog is based on a simple two column structure more than a magazine template that makes it unique.

The template starts off with the main navigation in the header, with a google custom search on the right hand side. Under that is the blog title along with the description, below that we have three sections that can hold whatever you require.

The rest of the blog is divided into two main columns, in a 60:40 ratio. Where 60% comprises of your posts while the remaining 40 percent is broken up into three side bars on the right. Although there is one section that holds your advertisements on the top. I think its safe to assume there is a single sidebar column on top above these columns.

The post on top has the posted on time stamp, labels and comments link, it does not have the author though it can be easily added. The sidebar section on the right has a pale yellow background and the columns a perhaps a little thin. If you like this template you can go ahead and download it though!

The Squick Design seems to be an Eco friendly design by Web Page Design and ported to blogger by Blog and Web.

The Squick Blogger template is a simple two column template that has an environment friendly theme, apart from the jazzy modern design on the top left corner of the blog. The header floats over the blog background with the description below it.

There is a navigation menu in what appears to be the header, the menu has a little hover on icon that pops up on the links. The navigation menu ends with rounded corners while the next section is an image where you can have you text displayed just like the blog header, its like a second header.

There is nothing more to this blog, the comments icon matches with the theme and the use of the light green font for the athor name and post date etc. The sidebar has a nice icon at the start of every line in it. The end of the template has another patch of green with a tree growing on a hillock, if you like this theme go ahead and download it!

The Magazine 2 Blogger Template was an original template design created by Unique Template, its a two column template that looks neat with the read more function.

The template is fairly simple, it has space to put in a header image on the left, while a leader board ad resides on the right of it. Under that is the page navigation menu from the left to the right of the screen, while a search bar is located on the extreme right.

The good part about this template that every section has a little space between the other this makes it look quite neat. The post section has a read more, that makes all the posts on the homepage looks crisp and it also has the timestamp, author, comments and labels, some below the headline and the rest after the read more.

The sidebar on the right has the subscribe to feed section ready, I would have actually preferred two sidebars but the three column footer makes up for the lack of an additional sidebar.

The white space template was created by Brian Gardner who has now made all his templates Open source, way to go Brian! It was ported to blogger by Themelib.

The white space template as its name suggest is a white template that has a newspaper style, a few more like these are the oh my grid and the grid focus templates. Although this one is unique as it has the sidebars on either sides of the main column.

It has a navigation menu on the top left with the blog title nestled on the right, under that is a strip where the text can be changed to whatever you need. This strip divides the header from the main section. Apart from that its a fairly plain template except for the footer, that has been divided into three columns. Its a light and fast loading template.

Rebel magazine template is creation of Filipina and Netrepreneur Chiq Montes of WPThemeDesigner and changed to blogger template by Theme Lib.

The two column template looks similar to Arthemia template, which we've used on one of our blogs Fractal Enlightenment. The major colours of this template are black and white.

The template design is simple and neat with an in-built RSS button and search box on the top right hand corner, which is integrated with the header. Then comes the navigation bar to place your sections, this one unlike Arthemia template doesn't have a drop down menu.

The labels, dateline and number of comments appear above the headline of your post, making it easy for the reader to select a label or category. Like many templates these days, this one too is Google AdSense friendly, with 300×250 rectangle, 250×250 square size boxes.

The right sidebar has space for 125x125 ad boxes and below are neatly outlines boxes for the remaining content.
